Is there a Facepunch group for Space Engineers? I'm kind of inspired to make one by the Payday 2 FP group, made for finding people to play with, but I don't know if such a thing exists or is really even wanted.

they are attempting to with this round of code, if it gets to the point where its playable i'll totally make a server
i'm sure keen will eventually work up the netcode, so far they have a stellar track record and they've even got users like darth veger relaying cc from this thread. what more could you ask? the people who get really worked up by the netcode issues need to take a pharmaceutical dose of barbiturates or something. i have every confidence.

So... I loaded up space engineers today to find that all my worlds are corrupt for some reason, even though I was just using them last night... Is this a bug, a problem exclusive to me, or something related to mods?

It honestly seems like a pretty good idea, although they really could have gone with a better model then a stack of green bills, it looks really out of place
Maybe a holographic-looking stack of coins would look better.

Uh, there appears to be a new bug which is causing some of my old designs and one new design i found the bug on a huge amount of grief. Thruster hitboxes seem to be misplaced or something, and there's some kind of backblast effect that didnt exist when i first tested thruster damage when it was released. Anyone know whats going on? Is this actually a bug or did i miss some fine print somewhere about thruster damage [T]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16970274/space%20engineers/2014-11-16_00003.jpg[/T] the above config was fine to fly with both engines at max power for quite a long time, neither were damaged at all. [T]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16970274/space%20engineers/2014-11-16_00004.jpg[/T] (in this screen the engine in the way was moved one block lower, so the thrust from the other touched the nozzle of the one in the way) this config explodes both or one of the engines very quickly, tested 5 times. same thing happens if you lower it one more block. This is also the fastest way to destroy an engine. just place some empty blocks behind a thruster and it will explode as long as they are attached to the same grid, you don't even need to weld them up. This is the backblast effect i mentioned. Here is the design and here is the result after a bit of flying. Old designs with similar engine configs that used to work no longer work without detonating either.
