Spent 3 hours making a heavy fighter, and it ends up looking like a fat, retarded turtle :/ Smashed it into an asteroid, and [I]every[/I] single engine, reactor and gyroscope explodes, yet all but the very front of the frame survives. Time to start from scratch.

Are you guys really having issues with huge ships? I've built several just for the sake of being way too fucking big and have yet to encounter any instability.

Anyone know which buttons kills all the power in my ship? Like so I can have cool crashes.

This game create such an intense desire to create ships for the sole purpose of seeing them butchered into tiny little pieces and ramming intensively into everything. So much more satisfying to wreck your own designed ship than to build it. Russians have a weird way of making us do things.

So uh. The game worked fine the moment it finished installing yesterday, but today it won't start. I see a black screen and the in-game cursor, but the game is basically frozen in this state and has to be killed through task manager. Any idea what went wrong?

Working on a new ship, starting from the bridge this time. Not sure whether it should be the front of the ship, or a little thing on top like e.g. star destroyers. That reactor is temporary, just to get the lights on. Might use reflector lights instead, but will have to wait to see how much of an FPS hit I get from the whole ship first.
