On the shitty fighters thing, i subscribed to a cool looking fighter, the Mantid fighter on the front page of the workshop, as i usually do.
The first thing that worried me is that they uploaded a world, not the blueprint.
I pulled up the world and hopped in the fighter. It weighed 30,000 kg, which was my immediate "oooohhhp. it's light armor." reaction. Tried to turn in it and it moved like a god damned slug.
"OOOHHHP. IT HAS 7 GYROSCOPES" Tried to fire the guns and there was like, 3 auto cannons and 1 Battlecannon. "OOHHHHHHHHHHP TINY AMOUNT GUNS" It didn't even have a rocket launcher.
Literally the only good thing was it had 2 industrial thrusters so it was pretty fast.
Other than that, my oldest fighter, the RF-12, that i made immediately after i got space engineers, could turn that thing into scrap. It's trash.
And most fighters on the workshop are exactly like that.
It's a great looking ship, it just blows massive wang.
So I tried making a ship that would meet the requirements set in that blog post about player created content a while back.

Do you guys think the finished result would make it into the game? If not, what should i change about it?

PSA: load up the game and create blueprints of your favorite ships, if we're gonna get "exploration" today (they said "very soon" after all, and usually updates that were announced on the blog to come out soon came out the next day, and it's already been a week, so), it's possible that all old savegames will be broken

Even if they do break all old saves, theyll fix them in a week or so. I have faith in keen.

Welp, looks like it's time to finish my design, add some speakers and put it on the workshop I suppose!
So it appears today's update just murdered my framerate, game's completely unplayable now

edit: nvm problem solved
The sound block is somewhat useless to me atm my sound issues have gotten worse to the point where every sound effect produces a metalic screeching so i turned all sound off.
