what are those little wing cannon things on either side towards the rear of the ship? it looks like you tried making the sith interceptor from the phantom menace. i think they should be a bit bigger.
made some changes

Every time I look at that thing I keep thinking of the Tengu from EVE, the wormhole skybox just reinforces that.
i looked at that skybox for at least 6 months straight in eve online when my alliance deployed to wh space please snip it you're triggering me please
Well I meant the power in ships, but it would be interesting if you just had a button to switch off your own life support :v:.
Accidentally wrecked your multi-day build by deleting a single block and want to end it all? Well now it's a feature!
iirc pressing backspace is suicide so you can switch off your own life support.
[editline]12th December 2014[/editline]
though its a bit unrealistic that you die the second your life support cuts, because in reality if you ran out of air in your spacesuit you'd still have about half a minute to live or longer depending on how long you can hold your breath.
damnit! turns out the projections moves out of place while the ship is in motion. this results in bombs and torpedos being welded onto the ship itself instead of just the merge block.
meaning small ship bombers using projector blocks gets a huge throw back. since they basically have to stop dead in their tracks to reload on bombs.

Just pretend the suicide button makes the suits' servomotors snap your neck or something :v:
During normal gameplay, you run out of energy first, then your HP starts dropping, then you finally die
honestly I haven't play survival is so long I didn't even know that.
suicide is for gameplay reasons anyway, like if you get stuck
or lost

Well, considering the resources needed in reloading, I think a lot of the time you'd be best off docking onto a connector on a parent ship and then reloading. Possibly even using dedicated welder bays on the parent.
I agree. Lets take a page from eve again, bombers are a one shot deal. You blow your load, gtfo, reload somewhere, and move on.
Yeah it seems to be the case.
I've been fiddling around with that fighter i made earlier. remade it from scratch with some internal as well as external improvements and gave it a neater space camouflage paint job.

I made the nose cone detachable to allow for modular customization.
There you see the basic shape nose cone which has a large Azimuth antenna inside it. I don't know yet wether the large antenna has a range upgrade to it's smaller versions but if it did then this nose cone would be your standard scout ship module.
Is it possible to make sensors only react to ships not owned by me? if so then the scout module could get an upgrade in the form of a sensor and a sound block.

Here's the standard interceptor module which houses a medium cargo container, 4 rocket launchers as well as some additional side thrusters.
And now i'm in the process of thinking up a good functioning bomber module. there's a pretty neat CSD bomb launcher on the workshop. so maybe just for fighters i'll settle for that. and for larger heavier ships i'll go for projected things
Just name the whole nosecone the bomb!

Not even EVE: Real fighters. Someone puts a bunch of missiles and/or bombs on them, they go unload them at a target and come back.
I fixed up one of my old bombers in a scrage musik style with reloadable rocket launchers. Fly under target, switch to top camera, then shoot, pitch up, shoot again, and fly off for another run. With 2 salvos in one pass I can get 18 rockets on one spot of armor.
Could someone tell me why the "Show gravity range" and "Show sensor range" options do nothing

You need an antenna on the ship/station for them to work
[editline]13th December 2014[/editline]
And you need to be their owner

They still don't work, what do

Also, when a timer block is triggered, does it execute *all* of its commands?
bug
and yes, it triggers everything
