I know it's horribly unimaginative an immature but the next thing i'm making is a Cock & Balls class Battleship.

I made a little ship with the basic idea that I tried to not make anything superfluous apart from covering everything in light armour and smoothing some of the corners as a last step.
And by little I mean a 1.3 thousand tonne large ship:

There's a pair of turrets on either side, as well as a missile turret on top. Three rocket launchers on the front just in case you want to go head-on against something. Proven to absolutely butcher a Commercial Freighter, dunno about anything heavier.

Space Engineers seems to be a pretty interesting place to play around with it due to what people are discovering and what may come down the line, does anyone have some tutorials or what not or any basic tips of what to play around with?

You mean world coordinates of other ships/grids? Because if so, no. We are waiting on a method to come that will expose all the connections antennas are picking up.
