Did a modular corvette ship! which just so happens to be a first large ship that i'm fairly happy with! [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/32982655642421617/560F1CEDF27B87DB3206362CBE43678101462434/[/t] It dissconnects right where you'd expect it to into 3 parts. an engine module, a weapons module and a command module (which is also crew quarters) [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/32982655642422090/2F21080C5792E20FE1693A75E3D28ADF9448AC9D/[/t] connecting the modules can be finicky. Since thrusters and gyros are all located on the engine module the other two doesn't really wanna act nice when trying to connect. so that's where my towing ships becomes useful! but even then it gets very tricky to move them around without them going into a disasterous spin or fuck off into space. So therefor i also made a gyroscope addon that is attached to the part i need to move. Just put a gyro on each module you say? well where's the fun in that? And i'm totally gonna make a ramming module to slap on the front! Seriously though, we have all the important stuff except planets, better multiplayer, and AI, which is what everyone wants. It's one of those 3 imo.
I get the feeling it won't have anything to do with Space Engineers, else they would just say it's an announcement about SE without specifically mentioning it's from KSH

nah, not these guys. if they went as far as to sell the game in stores while still in early access they've got some commitment to it.
My most wanted thing right now is an expansion to the scripting toolkit and/or more custom stuff available to change via modding.
My by and far most wanted feature is better netcode.
Can there an update that makes server finding easier I don't want to download 7MB of shit and find out that the Creative Server doesn't have Ctrl+v

Exploration stuff is in the game already, right? In survival? Derelict ships and stations and whatnot? I've been flying around for about an hour and a half, and haven't found anything yet. Is there any particular trick to hunting them down, or is it luck and patience?
you have to be on infinite worlds, and even on high density they are very rare

Does that require a mod, or is there an item that detects structures now?[/QUOTE] It's basically just a bunch of drones that fly along with you and extend you broadcast/recieve range so that A, if one is shot at you will know, and B, if one is in range of a beacon, you will know. It will give you much more range than any one ship can have. It takes some doing to get the drones programmed right, and recovering them is damn near impossible at this point.
