What'l they do first? ship ai or character ai? Probably ship. But do characters come before station and faction ai? (build ship, send ship to this region, attack blue ships, return money for more ships) I don't think massive fleet battles would be that much of a problem though.
Helping out translating this atm, It's quite fun, and you get to see alot of upcoming features in the strings you translate, such as ore's, ship features, and tools.

Am I the only one who has a hard time designing an interior knowing that rooms don't really have an purpose right now. We have engines, generators, gyros, pilot station, and that's basically it. Med bay is useless, cargo bay has no purpose, and docking bay mechanics have yet to be implemented. It's hard designing a ship to be realistic or whatever when you only need two rooms.

So I just got this game. One question though: How do you guys keep your shit from flying away when you bump into it. It's infuriating me.
I made a pretty shitty Blade Mk5, it was my first ship. [img]http://i.imgur.com/Sg2gOrT.jpg[/img] I unfortunately lost it after accidentally bailing, the reverse thrust wasn't enough to overcome the forward in time, so the ship flew out of sight. I had also started work on a Taiidan resource collector, one of the earliest known space trucks.
Trying to design a space station but im just thinking that it'd be pretty useless at the moment

Right now there's very little in the way of gameplay, so I wouldn't call it much fun, after the first half hour of ramming things.

What that means in terms of worth is up to you. There's going to be new features obviously, but that's what it is at the moment.

I hope the next update adds at least one weapon, or the drill; starting to exhaust all creative motivation.

I want weapons and defenses so I can start incorporating combat effectiveness into my designs.
Best order for updates: Guns working. ship ai working. Ship spawning system. Teams. An infinite amount of teams. Teams colour their ships. That'd be a fantastic update. Then followed by: Missions where you must travel from zone to zone. Making money for every zone you go too. probably under the pretext of 'cargo delivery' New ship hull sets. and then: simple Firearms doors Simple humanoid ai. finaly Resource/cargo management. life support. Then every subsequent update just builds upon those features.
i think it would be great to get a ship spawner/ADV Duplicator kinda thing before ship AI
I'm getting a bit afraid of alpha releases like this. I've gotten tired with at least a couple of games already before they're actually released, cheapening the actual release. :/
