I hate the hunger system, seriously. I know it's a survival game, but I just do not like it at all. It takes away from the fun of the old Minecraft when I could camp in a cave for days mining and shit without starving to death.
It's also a massive bummer that the mod to remove it hasn't been updated.
The community. Oh the FUCKING community.
Fucking modding API still hasn't come out after 2 years. All I ever hear from MCF is but dey haf 2 fix teh bugs and stop adding feeturs!!1
That's no damn excuse to why it hasn't even been started yet.
Also, some of my most favorite mods haven't been updated in over a year, which just makes me more angry.
You clearly do not know what the modding API contains if you think they haven't started working on it yet.

Honestly, I think the hunger system is a joke. After getting a decent house and the most simplistic farm imaginable up and running, hunger is a nuisance more than a challenge. Installing mods like "hunger overhaul" were the shit, so eating raw fish or poultry would actually kill you over time, and food would only "tide you over" for awhile unless you actually cooked a legitimate meal which blocked all hunger for like 10 minutes. Of course, legit meals required a kitchen, which required game progression. THIS system is how the hunger should have been done.

It hurts to watch.
Witches are badly implemented mobs that shouldn't be in the game in their current state. They have no sounds (It's baffling how they've not gotten any since their introduction), have shitty huts that might as well not even be there because you gain nothing useful out of seeking them out and considering they are the hardest overworld mob to fight, their drops are pathetic.

To be fair I think they're just there for grinders and Custom maps. They drop LOTS of non-renewable stuff like Glowstone, Redstone and Bottles, along with sometimes dropping a potion.

You see this pretty much sums up minecraft since it's first post beta release. Mojang adds a half assed thing, moves to another one never actually finishing it properly.
People who complain about Mojang not implementing something that a mod has, while at the same time somewhere else they complain about Mojang implementing (or as it's often called 'stealing') a different mod.
The latest ones I've heard are with Slime Blocks, Fill/Clone commands, and the World Generator Slider coming with 1.8. The irony being is that I've never once, in my 5 years of playing Minecraft, ever seen a mod come close to implementing these exact items like Mojang has. Which isn't to say that this hasn't ever happened previously, but things like Smooth Lighting and Pistons were REALLY quite healthy for Minecraft, I think people often overlook the benefits in favor of the negatives.

Actually, the slimeblock sticky functionality was originally a mod, but it was never released. In fact, it was created specifically to show to Jeb to convince him that it's a feature worth adding. Jeb was so impressed by them that he added them to the game. I think people are more upset at the fact that as of late, Mojang can't seem to come up with any good ideas for orginal, new content. Sure, they add things, but it's not really stuff that people want or ask for, and when it is, it's usually poorly executed (horses) (keep in mind I don't personally agree with this). The problem is the minecraft community seems to ignore the fact that millions of people are going to come up with ideas faster than a small development team, regardless of that team's efficiency. Just because "the modders did it first" doesn't mean Mojang is lazy.

So many ideas have been put into mods, that they would really need to reach to make something original for the game. They must feel that it is better to spend time fixing the problems that exist in the game now.
How is it that after YEARS there still isn't an efficient, functional mod API? Let's face it, mods are where it's at with this game. They should be focusing on bug fixing, mod support, and not breaking every mod with every update. There just aren't any features they can come up with that people haven't already modded in.
A undo button in Creative. So many times I've accidentally deleted blocks and not had them in my immediate inventory so had to go grab them again just to fix a minor accident.

Eh, it depends where you go. I'm guessing you found that video as a response to a famous youtuber of minecraft that targets children around that age? (Ex. SkyDoesMinecraft)
Honestly, I've been to many, I mean many, communities in Minecraft, some are filled with people like that, I agree. But I can't say that my favorite servers contain those type of players. The server I currently play I honestly haven't found anyone under 12 (Not that I look into all randoms, but the forum posters all act in a civilized matter), and my clan/social group's ages range from 14 to 21. Couldn't be more happy with it.
I have played Minecraft since the glory days of Beta 1.2_01 (which quickly turned into Beta 1.2_02). It was a time before beds and redstone repeaters (both came in Beta 1.3 but damn, now that I realize it, I can't even remember Minecraft without those two objects.) I was there when Squid and coloured wool came out. Back in those days, these somewhat big updates where incredible and made the game more fun. The world generation was awesome and hell even some of the mods were really amazing!
But nowadays, I just Minecraft going down a different path. I just dislike that this game is constantly changing. Even though some changes are cool and all, some of them shouldn't really be added to be honest. The new world generating system, (which I think came out around the Beta 1.8 mega-update) was where I sorta lost my sense of taste for this game. It was the day where I'd never see wacky generated maps and awesome fields and mountains and even floating islands.
What pisses me off the most? The highly anticipated yet still lagged Modding API. If there is anything that could probably save this game, it would be that API. But that is purely my opinion. If what they say about their API is true, and if old mods can be accessible without having to worry about updates breaking them, then maybe I will enjoy adding mods because it has been a painful process lately. Which brings me to the new launcher. Damn do I HATE it so much! Sure it has it's benefits of letting you try out Beta variants and etc, but it still seems like more of a Developer type of thing rather than a user-friendly launcher like the previous one. On top of that, they completely wiped out service for the old launcher, even if you went back to 1.5.2 or etc. I tried this first hand, and it wouldn't let you go online.
Honestly, I hope Mojang knows what it is doing at this point. Half of these reasons are why I enjoy the Console variants of the game. Sure they will eventually catch up onto the PC variant, but it just gives me more time to enjoy Minecraft as it once was and even that is slowly going away.

I personally like the new launcher. The interface isn't pretty but it's still easy to use, which is what I'd prefer anyway.

Oh? I was trying to install Optifine (The limit of my modding knowledge) and it took me about 12 minutes as I had to edit profile, rename a bunch of stuff and then finally confirm. Oh and make sure I didn't do ANY of that wrong.

I had optifine installed in a new profile in under a minute.
The lack of focus on new mobs and actual exploration (strongholds, dungeons, etc.) after what, 1.8 I think?
I had optifine installed in a new profile in under a minute.
I'm guessing there's an easier way then I thought. Either that or there are mods that let you mod the mods.

Also I have heard that 1.7.10 is going to have a new water mob.

1.7.10 isn't going to have any new mob. It'll be in 1.8.
Hopefully we'll get to test it next week when snapshots resume, maybe.

What the fuck is Mojang doing?
Do they realize that this is nearly impossible to enforce?
If it was enforced, it would kill off the majority of servers.
There's so much stupidity in this single action that I've nearly lost all faith in them.

They decided that they need to clear up the ambiguity thats in their current EULA.

They might not be able to enforce it, but I still think it's good that they clarified this.
Mother fucking CLAG
Sure just activate right when I broke a chest
ok im perfectly fine with a lot of things in this game maybe a few nitpicks here and there but we Have to address the fucking minecart rail boosters every 6-7 powered rails later with a redstone torch it turns off i would be fine maybe it it turns off every 9-10 blocks but if i want to make a damn minecart station i have to use so much redstone i usually run out even when i mine for so long i sometimes mine for 3 hours
