The normal matches were far more entertaining so why wouldn't we bitch about a lackluster finale? At least the hbox matches were fucking legendary tho so it's not all bad.

Alright, I'm gonna play Devil's Advocate here and defend this Bucket strat that was used. These guys are playing to win, period. This is grand finals of a major national tournament, of course if something like that works, then they're gonna use it.

I never saw any positive reactions to that lmao. Maybe we were just looking in different places but I remember a shit ton of bitching and videos making fun of it. I think you're exaggerating a bit there really. People bitched a lot back then about a boring finale, and people bitched now. Nothings really changed much. Everyone gets that someone will do whatever it takes to win ofc, but it doesn't change the fact that most people aren't gonna prefer watching a boring match revolving around some cheap shit over a more evened one where everyone goes all out. Or especially a match involving some crazy display of skill like those hbox matches.

Zelda has so many surprising ways to kill her opponent, holy shit. Her phantom slash can hit opponents holding onto ledges. I learned that when I accidentally KO'd someone in For Glory that was holding on to a ledge to avoid her phantom.

Finally got all the custom moves, trophies, and challenges. 100% completion so yey.
