I had a guy who played pretty solidly for game one with dk. I won, then next game he went lucario and just rolled and neutral b'd the whole time, grabbing for me or smash attacking when I got in. I lost by a hair because I was playing too stupidly. I just went ness and gave him the triple PK fire grab bthrow dick for the next few games until he quit

Real talk I hate sonic and rosalina as much as the next guy but I hate playing against greninja more than anyone else. I hate being unable to see shadow sneak's shadow when it's used in the air.
I absolutely despise Pikachu and Yoshi, those two are not fun to fight at all.
Been trying Olimar out. He's fun, but it feels like an uphill battle even when I'm beating them.
I love when you're up against an Ike, and the first thing they do after you both spawn is Quick Draw at you.
It's adorable.
The thing about Olimar is that he has garbage range, doesn't hit very hard, isn't particularly fast, has no attack priority, has to juggle the Pikmin, is easily launched...
He seems to be all weaknesses and no strengths.

Every time he got close Olimar had his ass handed to him, and as far as I watched Olimar consisted of extremely little move variation. That doesn't seem fun at all.
Advantages to Olimar:
-It's fucking confusing trying to space a fast moving enemy with four small silhouettes
I'm working on a version of Project M for my family and I. It makes use of the ASL to make the stage selection screen a little more suited for different contexts.

I've blanked [I]all[/I] levels out and started from scratch. The general idea is that clicking on any level will load the competitive, smaller version of a level. Holding "L" will get you to a bigger and sometimes sillier version of the stage. All alternate stages are excluded from randomization, which makes this pretty cool!

My little brother got so mad that my attack actually hit him that he paused, picked up some trash, and left. He's since figured me out completely - my little brother and I go back in forth in ass-whoopings, although he kicks my ass more often.

our local stream is finally beginning to get kinda started!!!
this guy i fought is like 4th in our state so i was intimidated, happy with how i played tho
just wrapped up a tournament here. there were like 4 big locals in georgia so only 10 people total showed up lol. none of the top rankers either. but there were still some good ones that actually have decent spots on the local public rankings.
came in 4th. prior to the event I was called out by another ike main who uses my colors. we did a bo5 ike mirror set, got stomped on game 1 but I took the next 3. blue/white ike is mine for the time being.

Tangentially related, but Xander (the Smash announcer) is on a charity Stream event on Twitch. If 100 people stay for an hour, he will sing "I'm Too Sexy for My Shirt" in the Smash Announcer voice. The stream is at like 75 people or so.

Was jokingly called "Randall" by a Canadian smasher for no particular reason, name spread. It was a very deep process.
Calling the platform ghost in Yoshi's Island (Brawl) "Steve" is also popular for a similar reason in my region though not to the same "unified" degree that Randall is.
