Wolf or King K. Rool or bust [editline]15th September 2015[/editline] Have you tried infinity? I doubt it.
http://www.smashbros.com/us/images/dlc/stage_∞.jpg Darn, we've tried them all sir!
Well from the sounds of the Super Mario Maker stage. We do have infinite stages.
If the Super Mario Maker stage AND a new character were released on the 30th it would make for one hell of a birthday present
Give us Wolf and Sector Z please, thanks in advance Samurai.
Watch as they give us Venom instead and no one buys it because it's Venom.
Had some good games with my mains recently: Also here's something I think fellow Zelda mains will enjoy.
Watch as they give us Venom instead and no one buys it because it's Venom.
I like Venom though :frown:
I want a Wind Waker stage. [editline]15th September 2015[/editline] I think Forsaken Fortress or Windfall Island could make for some interesting stages.
I like Venom though :frown:
The middle is solid, the top fin has to be jumped over and acts like a wall with slopes, the bottom wings are arbitrarily solid (which means you can gimp yourself right at the wing tip), there are lasers firing from the background which are hard to see due to the arwing trajectories, it's basically designed to be circlecamped and you have a random chance of ricocheting off of a wall instead of getting killed and there is very little room between the stage and blastzones. The idea of the map was cool but they could have set it up so much better.
it was neat to have the walls that occasionally came in to rebound you back to the stage, could have made for some hype moments a la Randall, or Smashville platforms, if the stage was better designed what i can think of is, make it some generic spaceship without a janky shape, and make the gimmick of the stage be that different environments would present different (passive) hazards. one would be the aforementioned walls, but you could also have a section where there is lava/acid i.e. Brinstar, or times when the blastzones are altered, potentially favoring certain playstyles and making players adapt. Like a consistent scripted tour where players build strategy to make the best use of the phases of the stage, like players already do with certain levels, but, importantly, without stage transformations. Kind of a Pokemon Stadium but where the borders of the screen change instead of the main platform. Project M pls
Project M pls
The reason it took so long for Bowser's Castle to even be the first stage with custom hazards is because people still can't figure out how the hitboxes work for stages. I doubt something actiony like that will happen until the method is cracked because they basically made them dangerous, unbreakable break-the-targets, well, targets.
I have how it takes a minimum of twenty seconds to get back to the character select after finishing a match. Not only it is extremely irritating, but it gives your opponent more than enough time to decide he'd rather leave.
At least it lets you play the same person more than once while most fighting games send you back to searching after one match.
!!!!!!!!! Someone made a mod for PM that turns Ganondorf into something actually accurate. The animations are pretty rough but even in an unpolished state I'd take this over him being confined to Falcon-clone purgatory (actual stuff starts 2 minutes in)
Judging by the other Ganondorf he occasionally beats up on, is it optional? Like, you can have it along-side Falcondorf as well? That's really fucking cool. I love how it's so accurate to the games he's been in, down to the little details. Edit: I should've probably watched the full video before asking. Holy shit that's amazing. He looks truly like a boss character and it just kinda makes me wish Sakurai had this kind of creativity with him.
I would assume the missing stage ties in with a new character, which is why they skipped over it. I guess.
Late as hell reply, but no, stages bundled with characters use a different naming scheme, hence why Suzaku Castle isn't there.
I think Ganondorf is fine the way he is, if he got retooled to be completely different I'd want a character to inherit his current movement.
I've recently picked up Ness as a main and he's incredibly fun. But there are certain match ups i've got trouble with, mostly people like luigi and zss, top tiers. Any recommendations on how to deal with them?
give me toon ganon with twin swords plz
give me toon ganon with twin swords plz
Pig Ganon with Trident would be really cool if you ask me.
But i want Hyrule Warriors L'Oréal Ganondorf [sp]Because he's worth it[/sp]
uh
How did people get angry at PM removing warlock punch? it's not a canon move nor it is a good move at all and doesn't fit the game's fast paced style (falcon punch is an exception because captain falcon's personality was basically born in smash 64), falcon punch 64 at least was sort of quick and could be used in combos because of the ridiculous level of hitstun that thing had. People are like "hurr durr but muh disrespect" but honestly, ganondorf being able to face other characters with a better moveset just makes him more fun to play.

He's already considered underpowered in 3.6 so having form switches wouldn't break him if done right. Project Bowser when
How did people get angry at PM removing warlock punch? it's not a canon move nor it is a good move at all and doesn't fit the game's fast paced style (falcon punch is an exception because captain falcon's personality was basically born in smash 64), falcon punch 64 at least was sort of quick and could be used in combos because of the ridiculous level of hitstun that thing had.
The conclusion: Bowser is bad when he's up against a player that knows how to go against Bowser.
I mean, he's not wrong. Even in his best showing, Project M, he still is only good against people that don't know the matchup and is screwed if they know how to avoid him. Same deal with Ganondorf. Gigantic, slow movesets just don't work from a competitive standpoint (Brawl DeDeDe is only an exception because his grab was THAT broken and armor on up B). They either need to be gigantic and quick or slow and small, because giant, slow characters just have no options for pressure or for putting on pressure.
That can be said about literally any character, just more so with slow ones.
Better start uploading smash replays before a potential update kills them.
Little late, but I thought the idea of giving Ganon his own moveset and transferring his old one to Black Shadow would interesting. It seems like it would fit him. He's a big evil-looking guy and it would fit better since he's an F-Zero villain, so it would make more sense for him to fight similar to Falcon.
