the circumstances of For Glory are almost always against you, mostly because of inconsistent lag that changes every game, and also because half the people playing pick smashboards/reddit's S-tier fighters and repeat only successful tourney techniques ad nauseam
I never was good at Smash but after playing For Glory for the first time I feel like the worst
I only won one game out of 10 and that was only because I got lucky with Roy and spiked his last stock
How do get gud
Being Good at For Glory =/= Being good at the game.

Oh fucking hell I can't STAND that fucking input lag. I never get used to it and people keep cookie cutter comboing me because his inputs always come out faster than mine.

ffs styles really loves zooming in on the loser on the results screen
I always taunt when I play smash bros. Especially with Wario. You can even bait approaches with him because his taunts are so offensive and fast.
Taunts never bothered me in smash bros, I think they're all funny in their own way, as opposed to other games (TF2)
I only taunt when I'm in a mirror match. And sometimes after I get a fantastic kill.
If you don't do Megaman's down taunt to warp out right as the match ends, you're doing it wrong.
[editline]t[/editline]
There's always the chance you time it right and he disappears when the camera freezes, only to warp in on the victory screen, making it look seamless.
Drunk as fuck right now, someone please fight me so i dont have to deal with FG players. Im in group chat.

The moves were all shown.
yeah i was not prepared for that game and watch
Was doing rounds of smash bros 8 player matches with a bunch of people. I noticed the last player loved rolling, so I decided to try and initiate a dance off. the dance was short lived, but ended with a bang at least

[sp]still laughing at the fact we turned on each other at the EXACT same moment lmao[/sp]
DK's is glorious.
It's weird to think that g&w is a full model in the smash games with some flattening fuckery going on. I wonder why they took that approach instead of making him a sprite

Likely would have been too low-res in Melee to rely entirely on sprites, and even then, if he was a sprite in Brawl, his texture requirements would far exceed that of any other character unless he was blurry as hell.

It's weird because his trophy is 2D if I recall correctly despite that.

It's easier to animate a skeleton for all of the ways that other characters will contort the character during grab/throw states.

Yeah, it reminded me of that obscure DK cartoon with how he stood upright and striked a cool pose.
I was playing some online battles at night when I came across this weird glitch where it put me on player 2 instead of player 1. What is even more weird is that I was put BACK into player 1 upon the waiting period but there was a CPU on the location of player 2. Every time someone would connect (as player 2) they would turn into a CPU and disconnect after 30 or so seconds. Resulting in the battle never starting due to it being a team battle.

This was also discovered to be the reason that Ivysaur whiffs her up B in Brawl and Project M.
Now, you may ask: "Why does this game need hitboxes to have depth?" The answer isn't immediately obvious on competitive stages, but it's actually due to stage hazards. Mute City's cars in Melee and the lava plumes on Norfair in Brawl are examples of hitboxes that come from the background, rather than having their hitboxes generate at a specific location.
If I recall correctly, this also meant that Yoshi's grab is actually way better on Flat Zone than anywhere else because all of the players are flattened.
maintenance times for the mario maker update are out

Huh?
Huh?
Most of the Smash fanbase considers Ivysaur female because they have the yellow seed inside the bulb that only female Venusaurs have in Pokemon (more notable because this was a feature that was added in Generation 4 for Venusaur and Brawl references gen 4 heavily), plus they had a female VA in Japan.
Lucas has a female VA, Lucas is grill now
For what it's worth, there was allegedly a Famitsu article on the Pokemon Trainer when Brawl was coming out and Squirtle and Charizard were listed as male and Ivysaur as female using symbols, however the link is now dead.
