Thanks, but the problem is more that I absolutely can't stand the online with its input delay and the fact that it sometimes moves along like a slideshow. I suppose the more appropriate question would be if anyone has some tips on how to maybe improve my connection?

Final smash sucks in Lucas and his lightning but they collide which gets rid of the lightning.
The game thinks Luigi has sucked in two objects but only Lucas actually exists.
Luigi keeps shooting because the game still thinks there's something to fire, but there's nothing.

I'm gonna be really disappointed if Wolf wins it, only because he seems like the kind of character who'd be brought back as DLC anyway.

It's like, "OH BOY, WHAT CHARACTER DO YOU GUYS WANT IN THE NEW MARIO KART?" and everyone's like "TOAD!"; we've got a chance to get just about ANYONE in, including newcomers. Why waste your vote on someone that they're probably already working on?

I'm hoping for something kinda out there that wouldn't really have a chance without strong vocal support from the community. Like Banjo and Kazooie or Wonder Red or even K. Rool; these are guys who would honestly probably NEVER make it into Smash without this ballot.

If Wolf wins the ballot and is already planned for DLC, they could just toss him off the list and move the other characters up one position. "Oh, you guys wanted Wolf back that badly? Well we were already working on him! Congratulations!" Most people voted for more than one character anyway, so their voices would still be heard.

The way I see it, voting for veterans is not a waste. We don't fully know how Nintendo is going to use the result of the ballot. We don't know if there's a plan to make multiple characters as a result. We don't know if they might be on the fence about bringing back Wolf and others and would like to gauge fan interest using the ballot, but are also looking to get new characters out of it too.

Simply put, [b]we don't know anything. [/b] So a vote for a veteran is hardly a waste. The comparison to Mario Karts roster doesn't really work. It's within the Mario Universe with a set cast of characters, and the only ones you'd really expect to get cut are really obscure characters. It's a different case in Smash Bros where there's tons of characters from tons of franchises to pull from. Previous entries in the series have seen cuts to the roster that were permanent (mostly because patching and dlc wasn't much of a thing back then), and even with patching and dlc, bringing back a veteran is still just a chance, it's not a garuantee. So some people (myself included) want to make sure that those veterans who still have a chance to get into the game [b]actually do get in [/b].

This is another thing to consider. For all we know, the ballot means nothing at all. For all we know, all the jokey meme votes made them reconsider letting the public decide, and are just going to forge the whole thing, invalidating all of the legitimate votes.

Like I keep saying we really don't know anything, we probably won't know anything even after the fact. Getting upset about what people voted now is kind of silly, it's when the results get posted is when we can get mad!
