Does anyone have any advice for landing back onstage more safely?

Honestly I've had such a shite week so if this new character I've been anticipating for months ends up being lame or a disappointment I'm gonna be so fucking distraught

If you're falling from above, depending on what their doing: - If they're coming up towards you to attack you again, you have the choice of: -- Trading with them by using your neutral air (only useful if you're sure and have a long hitbox like Puffs N-Air). -- Air dodging through them. If they've caught your air dodge before probably not do this. If your opponent is also someone like C-Falcon or Mario then I would recommend to avoid doing this. Their up air can come out twice between you air dodging and you stopping to air dodge. -- Otherwise a super safe option is to just fade back to the ledge. Move back away from the stage and give your opponent plenty of room to recognise they're not going to be about sufficiently attack you. If they continue to follow you, they put themselves at a disadvantage ready for you punish their hubris. Only try the counter-punish if you've got a good recovery, and have a good back air. Some good characters (if you play as them) are Fox, ZSS, Samus etc. The number times I've been killing because I go out to try and stop them from recovering, and a smart double jump > b-air will rek me. Sometimes if you're the attacker it's best to just let them get to the ledge. -- Hold onto your jump for as long as possible, if you fuck up and you don't have a jump, you will get even more fucked up. - On the ledge, there's a few obvious choices -- Rolling or getting up. -- Jumping down to attack them as you get back on stage. If they expect this, this sets you up to be more disadvantaged than you were before. I recommend only doing this if you have big hit boxes to do a sweeping move to knock them far enough back they can't grab. -- Jumping down to recover high on stage. This is a pretty good option if there are platforms and you have a horizontal recovery like Fox. If there are no platforms, or you're not fox, avoid doing this more than once. -- Mix it up. Never do any of these more than 2 times in a row. If you want to try and read your opponent, do an empty jump back to the ledge and watch their reaction, then immediately do what you want to do on reaction. If you make that time between the empty jump > recovery short, they're probably going to do the same again due to the pressure you're going to be applying.

Should just grab them from Anthers ladder, and maybe outline some tournament rules (2 stock/6 minutes, 3 stock 8/minutes etc) for Smash 4. Link to some melee guides too tyvm

Nairo beat Zero!!!!!!!!!

Nairo just destroyed Zer0 in MLG GF's. Zer0 ended up just completely just giving up, some of the most insane stocks I've seen in Smash 4 with those last few games though. 1 minute games because Nairo was just on point.

MLG was actually pretty sick for Smash. Between Wizzrobe in Melee (some of the best sets he has ever played) and Nairo vs Esam/Nairo vs Zero in Smash 4, it's been super entertaining.
