The special combo only works now and then and I'm still bad with regular hits in general.[/QUOTE] fox, diddy, mario, luigi, roy, sheik, sonic, pikachu are all pretty good fast characters. go for grabs when they're shielding or if you predict they're going to be shielding. you can also grab if they're in some long attack animation and your grab is fast enough, or they're using a counter move or something. you can also shield right before you expect to be hit by them then grab them once the attack hits your shield.

EY here's the results of the first facepuch worldwide wiiu tournament (aka lagpunch). Like me just straight up running through his spinning kick twice in the first match for whatever fucking reason, or that reversal at 4:07 in the first match. fuck you ryu. course if Naitomere was using little mac the outcome probably would've been a different story but O WELL GG the NA tournament should be wrapping up within a week as well, too. Will post results when it's ready.

I finally managed to get Smash 4 last week. Looking at the gameplay videos coming out of this thread makes me realize I'm really not that good, lol. Maybe it's because I've only ever really played smash with my cousins; they're about as good as you'd expect little kids to be. Also, they all play exclusively with just the Wii Remote by itself.

If you time it right he can't dodge it and the attack will land while he's getting up. But I fucked it up there so he got me. I need to time that shit better. The falcon kicks worked most of the time, and I rarely ever got punished for it, so yeah of course I used them a lot. It depends what character I'm up against if I use the kick a lot. fight me and show me your ways of barely pressing buttons

In our fights was trying to hit him through falcon kicks as it HAS worked in the past due to the disjointed hitbox but it wasn't doing shit for me.
