Does anyone know if they patched out the glitch that let you play with Mewtwo's unfinished customs?
Yeah, they patched it back in 1.0.7, before the DLC patch.

Shame, I wanted to try it with Roy and Ryu as well.
Lol I made some dude rage quit as Kirby I was doing the forward air combo thing on him offstage and he just killed himself, after the match he changed his name to "wow ur gay" and left.
I don't know why but that gave me a twisted sense of satisfaction and I'm usually not like that.
Well, after what seemed like a decent streak of games, I've come to the disheartening conclusion that I absolutely fucking blow at smash.
My win rate is now below 50% and I'm just discouraged because I thought I was doing pretty well.
Guess it's time to take a break, maybe play some of the new steam games I bought
I do my best when i just pick random characters and fuck around. If I pick my main and get all intense about it, I do worse.
I usually pick random om FG and it automatically gives me a sense of "whatever" which somehow makes me better.
I have a 30% win rate on FG, and I don't even care.
i would say a good quarter of my FG games have a playable amount of lag and the other three-quarters are either a half second of input lag or terrible stuttering.
damn i wish i had a viable way of getting good at this game
I have a 53% winrate in FG because when I play half the time it either is against Smash magicians who can combo aerials from 0 to 70% without me able to do anything because not even airdodging I can dodge all their hits (Mostly against Sheik and Meta Knight mains), and the other half is against people who think they can win spamming the same attack or combo over and over again.
Then I feel bad for beating obvious kids who don't know the shield exists.

You could always try Anther's Ladder. No lag and against incredibly good people.
I would attribute most of my FG losses to very poor connection.
That or my opponent playing a character with a sudden death advantage (a very fast, strong and safe attack) and intentionally stalling so they can use it to win by sudden death.
[editline]22nd June 2015[/editline]
On that note, I'm starting to notice a trend of people playing characters with very good dashgrabs who stall the whole match, then try to dashgrab/throw you in SD for the win.
i have 75.54% FG winrate am I good at videogames yet
I have a very poor winrate as I refuse to look butthurt against players who repeataly cream my buns.

Same. My winrate is probably in the shitter but I don't really care.

For glory win rate doesn't mean much anyways unless you're like above 80 or below 20 lol. Someone could just rage quit every time they connect to someone who destroys them while playing the really bad players over and over if they really wanted to keep their percent high. Granted I haven't played for glory that much yet but I've seen a lot of clueless people on there so far.
Personally I love fighting the absurdly good ones when I can find them. I don't learn shit otherwise.
50% Win rate.
I had a lot of fun lately in For Glory...that is until a swarm of Zero Slut Shamus ruined everything.
If you stop caring about your W/L you'll do much better. You'll be more relaxed and focused, and likely learn more as a result.
My winrate is just above 50% and rising. The main reason is when I first started, I would leave matches if I constantly beat the other player, but if the other player constantly beat me I would play with them until they left or I was done so I could try and figure out what they were doing right or what I was doing wrong.
I stop doing this a couple months ago because I realized that people I beat constantly might have the same mentality so I really never back out of FG until I'm done. Made my win rate start creeping up.
I'm almost eclipsing my losses so almost at 50% I always get a good laugh when i completely annihilate someone's first life then they run off the stage giving up
gonna try out smash ladder for the first time tonight so hopefully that works better than fg. I'll prolly still go to FG for quick matches but yea. anyone here use smashladder? anything I should know?
I can't wait for Tourney mode assuming it'll actually work properly online. Will make hosting events so much easier.
playing earthbound beginnings
fighting a regular starman
it gets the first hit, uses pk beam gamma
gets reflected off a franklin badge, instantly kills itself
now where has this happened for me before, OH RIGHT IN SMASH BROS
god damn mother 1 is well represented this time around. a new stage, new song, smash run enemy and starman is based on m1's attacks too. fantastic

Strangely, Mother got more representation in Melee and Brawl in the music department than Earthbound did.
(Heck, Earthbound actually got 0 remixes in Brawl, although several cut songs were from it)
Rip in peace Fourside's music. You were too good for this earth, especially since other Melee stages inherited their forgotten companion's music.
God, Sonic is just not fun to play against. Whether or not I win or lose I feel like I got nothing from that game.
It's basically "hit the flying blue hitbox at the right time, also watch out he shits springs"

That's because Mother's music consistently reappears throughout the series, so most of the music can be said to be "Mother 1" music when it was actually in all 3 games. Songs like Pollyanna and Snowman.
[sp]Also Mother 1 has the best soundtrack in the series[/sp]
[sp]I will never call it Earthbound Beginnings, sorry Nintendo[/sp]
When all my friends get together to play Smash, we have a rule. Not so much a rule as it is a saying.
"If you play Sonic even ironically you're a SHET and will be made fun of and ganged up on for playing as the character/franchise equivalent to a Fisher-Price toy."

Skill levels are high. Take matches as learning experiences. Don't play people who're ranks above you in ranks as they are just looking for wins and to move up easily.
I like smash ladder a lot but I haven't played it recently. The tourney rules make it really fun. Being able to play maps that aren't fd rules!
I'm sad because it's hard to get better than what I'm at currently at in Smash online, due to getting randoms with wicked lag, giving me HORRENDOUS button delay and fucking me over.
Trying to play as Ryu with button delay is true suffering. The number of tatsumakis I've done when I wanted a backair, propelling me off the stage and killing me is too many to count already.
