rofl and melee is supposed to be the face of competitive smash?
is it supposed to be now? I don't remember getting that memo.
uh what?
the childish behaviour from the players and the crowd
It feels like you guys aren't much familiar with sports(even e-sports) if you think this Finals was childish
the childish behaviour from the players and the crowd
I think I heard like 3 guys booing but what did the players do?
I think I heard like 3 guys booing but what did the players do?
Mango threw his medal which is pretty disrespectful to the person who awarded it to him. Also Plup didn't even bother to show up.
snip late
Mango threw his medal which is pretty disrespectful to the person who awarded it to him. Also Plup didn't even bother to show up.
Never in my entire life i've ever seen something so stupid and disrespecful
Mango threw his medal which is pretty disrespectful to the person who awarded it to him. Also Plup didn't even bother to show up.
What? He threw his medal into the crowd and winked at them. How's that disrespect?
What? He threw his medal into the crowd and winked at them. How's that disrespect?
Because he did it right infront of the guy (forgot the host's name) who awarded it to him. It looked like a "I don't want your non-first place shit" gesture. I don't know Mango though, but that's what it looked like to me. Could've easily not been the case.
he also threw away his ceo 3rd place medal but at least he didn't do it in front of the fucking to lol

I do it seemingly every other falcon match i do with naitomere and mrbonds, it's really fucking lame and I can't wrap my head around why a grab jab isn't guaranteed damage, instead of something that has to be aimed just right lol. Silly decision by the devs.
It seems I do better with Robin than any other character. I completed Classic Mode on 9.0 without losing a single stock almost effortlessly without customs. Robin's Levin Sword fucking tears through Master Core.

While I was at work I was thinking about how some people have suggested that Rosalina should have the Luma respawning Mechanic removed but I don't think that's a good idea. There's been comparisons to Ice Climbers but I think balancing Rosalina with them in mind is a poor choice as the direction of the characters should try to be more unique from one another. I think the Luma death Mechanic needs a rework, not removal. The idea I came up with at work is as follows: 1. Rosalina gets 3 Lumas a stock; after 3 Luma deaths none will respawn until Rosalina does. 2. Each Luma is a different color and has different Properties: - A. Red: 1.2 Attack power, 30% HP - B. Yellow: 1 Attack Power, 45% HP - C. Blue: 0.8 Attack power, 60% HP 3. I thought of two different ways of determining which Luma comes out: - A. Set pattern, Always Yellow -> Red -> Blue or similar pattern. - B. Player determined: Always start Yellow, after first Luma death timer Rosalina begins to glow and player may tap b for Blue Luma or hold b for Red Luma, after second death the remaining Luma is spawned whenever the player hits b. Not that this would ever happen but I think it would change how Rosalina is played, Luma's become an issue of Resource management and different playstyles could result from the differing properties.
I'd just make it so Rosalina has to do a certain amount of damage to make it come back, instead of it being on a timer
Man I was real disappointed with the lack of the wolf reveal at EVO. Wolf is all I want dlc wise but I'll probably be happy with whatever.
I'd just make it so Rosalina has to do a certain amount of damage to make it come back, instead of it being on a timer
Then you'd just have them occasionally running in with a jab and backing out again until Luma comes back. Which is hardly different from their current tactic of just outright avoiding you until Luma comes back.
Really though why not buff luma then make it so it doesn't respawn.
Really though why not buff luma then make it so it doesn't respawn.
Luma is probably the last thing in Smash that needs a damage/knockback buff. :v:
[vid]http://puu.sh/j6dKm/cf6ce66604.mp4[/vid] omg that tech away read with the perfect dash attack
Why don't we just buff little mac Right guys? ...please?
Why don't we just buff little mac Right guys? ...please?
they did and he's called ryu

Just wondering, is Project M netplay/online possible on a Wii U?
i'd really doubt it but even if it was it wouldn't be worth the trouble. any attempts to do wi-fi on the Wii after the shutdown have been extremely finicky and oftentimes laggy as heck. [editline]20th July 2015[/editline] dolphin netplay is basically the only option for PM online
