I feel like a lot of series had their villian in the game, so it would be cool to have the K-rool in. They took out wolf too so there goes that villian. Pokemon - Mewtoo? Mario - Bowser, Wario? Starfox - Wolf Kirby - dedede Mother - don't know, haven't played (don't kill me) FE - don't know, haven't played (plz no kill) Zelda - Ganondorf DK - KRool ect ect

FE doesn't really have a consistent villain. Funnily enough FE:Fates's villain depending on which side you pick seems to be a dark-toned man named Garon. (reminds me of Ganon)

Would the Giygas from Earthbound Beginnings work? I know he looks really similar to Mewtwo, but could he function as a Mewtwo skin or a semi-clone? These questions are coming from a guy that hasn't played much of the series at all, so please forgive my ignorance.

I haven't played Mother 1, but as far as I know Giygas uses the same "you cannot comprehend" psychic mindfuckery stuff he does in EarthBound. I don't know how they would go about depicting that in Smash. Plus he would end up looking way too much like Mewtwo if he was based on the Mother 1 appearance.

Dark Matter is the villain for the Kirby series. Wario was similarly a villain in only three early games (four if you consider him the mastermind behind the events of Super Mario Land as SML2 suggests) and is now an anti-hero. Mewtwo does count as a villain, however. As was said before, Mother's most viable villain is Porky (kind of hard to make Giygas playable or even an assist trophy when it's main trait was being incomprehensible) while Fire Emblem spans a timeline lasting well over a millenia without any particular enemies that are as iconic as the protagonists.

K. Rool deserves to be in Smash so much and anyone who doesn't agree with that is blind

Would the Masked Man work as a villain rep for the Mother serie ? It seems to me as if he'd be the easiest one to work with (realistic proportions, cool and unique design, established moveset).

Plus, he'd be the same size/shape as Ness and Lucas while Porky would have some cool mech. Giygas was actually the basis for mewtwo, so if anything we should just silently switch the characters and see how long it takes for people to notice

As much as I'd like more mother content and characters, most main characters probably are just going to be clones; Ness and Lucas somehow already have all the PSI powers. I'd love it if Ness/Lucas had the powers from the original game, and Kumatora/Paula were included with pk fire.

Give her a brawler type moveset and it could be pretty mixed up.

Is the eshop version of 0 a actual punch up of the script or is it just them throwing the old rom they had laying around on? Would explain the inconsistency pretty easily

not to mention Pokey/Porky, a name change that actually matters since Mother 3 has a shit ton of puns on it

They could easily retcon that into him adopting "Porky" as a new title between Earthbound and 3 Going from zero pig puns to thousands, this makes sense, and it doesn't change anything critical

There needs to be more Mother/Earthbound content in smash.

Kumatora or Duster would be fantastic for smash.

So those who follow Project M will be pleased to know that they did another Art Update today for upcoming update 3.6 (currently available in beta). This time it's a long awaited alt costume for Roy! [t]http://i.imgur.com/RFBl6NU.png[/t] Personally I think the face looks a little off, but that's probably because I'm used to his Smash 4 redesign.

Big Boss being available, Samus having her actual fusion and light suits as an option, and ROB's Wii + Mario Kart + Virtual Boy skins just to name a few.

I have been playing Golden Sun on the virtual console and now I want Isaac in Smash. It would be nice to have a character that uses Earth powers.

The weird feminine face and flat colors is pretty much the only problem I have with it, but I probably would have preferred the Smash 4 design over that, honestly. It would be nice if someone were to remake Ike's Smash 4 appearance as well, actually. I'm starting to prefer that design over the Brawl design, funny enough.
