PM 4.0 (whenever that comes out but it's still a fair few months off) is gonna have him
I'm not really familiar with the Golden Sun series, but it would be fucking awesome to a professionally made custom fighter with a unique PSI from the PM devs. You don't really see those much, so this makes me a bit more excited.
Considering that Roy is 15 in his base game and Melee/PM yet the Awakening design (and also the hybrid Smash 4 design) upped his age to be like 20 or so, they did a pretty good job making the proportions not look odd on his significantly shorter build.
that is one fat sword
I'm pretty sure it's just a really odd angle due to trying to match the artwork pose since their skins always match the proportions of the weapon used on the base character.

I seriously doubt they made it fat and stubby.

iirc 4.0 is adding Issac, Lyn from FE, and Knuckles

I was seriously under the impression that Roy and all the other lords were at least somewhere in their early to mid 20s, what the fuck.

And Sami from Advance Wars. There is allegedly also a secret 5th character that they have in the works.

Roy and Lyn are 15, Ike is 17 in Path of Radiance and Brawl but 20 in Radiant Dawn and Sm4sh, Marth is 16 in Shadow Dragon, Melee and Brawl and 19 in Mystery of the Emblem and Sm4sh.
Robin and Lucina were never given ages.
For comparison, based on various tidbits from game-to-game and assuming aging doesn't exist as long as they don't bring it up, Mario, Luigi and Peach are 26, Captain Falcon is 37, Sonic is 15, Ness is 14, Toon Link is 12, Link is 16 and Zelda is 20.
Not set in stone, but various media and nods to time events in the Metroid series also suggests that Samus is in her late 20s (with most Metroid timeline fans considering Other M to be when she was around 25) and that Yoshi is probably in his early 30s at the very least, if Yoshi's Island DS implication that the green Yoshi constantly found is in fact a specific Yoshi that had also discovered Mario in his infancy.
Toon Link is 12, Link is 16 and Zelda is 20.
These ages aren't really relevant to anything seeing as there's been multiple Links and Zeldas over the whole series.

Actually they are, they gave ages for the majority of Links and specifically TP Zelda.
12 is what the Toon Link Amiibo's description gives, and an official interview gave TP Link and Zelda their ages.
It's funny how Ness is only one year younger than Melee Roy and yet he looks like a complete child in comparison to Roy due to the different art styles.

Ness being a teen (although this was true in the Japanese build as well) makes a bit more sense with the western clay models of him and the rest of the crew:

The Japanese clay models went far more for a chibi style though and that is what stuck with the sprites and with Smash Bros and most merch since then.
Speaking of which, how old is Villager? He looks like a child, but his trophy describes him as a "young man" and he's old enough to live on his own.

According to Tomato that IS the japanese clay model, just stretched taller :v: (unless I misread it)
Same with Paula though they edited out her ribbon too

Hah, now that you mention it I now see how it could have skewed the hair diagonally and potentially made a small mistake editing the hat when they made it face backwards. :v:
Didn't even think they'd bother doing that.
Roy and Lyn are 15,
Fun fact; she's 18 in the English version because Nintendo didn't want a 15 year old getting married as part of an ending (some characters have paired endings in FE7 where the epilogue after beating the game says "x and z totally hooked up and had babies, probably").
Another fun fact; she's younger then Hector and Eliwood in the Japanese version (she's 15, they're 17) so bumping her up makes her a year older.
Fun fact encore; since her story takes place a year before the 'main plot' of the game, this means at the end of the game she's 19 and the other lords are 18.
I don't know why but I find it really amusing they did this. They overshot the mark just a bit, I think.
I never realized how fun Smash Run is.
It's like Subspace Emissary but bite sized.

Us Wii Users could use some smash run love over here. Our single player modes are a fucking joke.

It'd be neat to have an "arena shooter" like gamemode with splitscreen and perhaps stamina where you can choose stages that are like smaller versions of the Smash Run map with all the corridors and shit rather than stages with just a floating platform or two.
i want break the targets back...
Has anyone remade the Break the Target levels from any of the games in the SSB4 Stage Builder yet?

Can I just say that the Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter is gold? Anyone who isn't following it should correct that right now.

Wait a second, what? Super Smash Con?
Why haven't I heard about this? It's only like an hour drive from here.
It makes me sad that school drained all my money.

Scratch that, I might have enough to go. HYPE! :excited:

It was announced a few months ago at a Xanadu weekly. It looks like it could be cool and has tournaments for 4 of the games (What's PM?).
