My favorite Marth player, The Moon, said he doesn't worry about difficult to remember stuff like frame data because it's not something he can reliably focus on in a match. Instead he focuses on outplaying his opponent and trying to be a step ahead ingame.

I can't stop playing ryu send help [editline]24th June 2015[/editline] Project M always kinda looked like a fangame (well it is a fan mod but still) and I wish I could get over that. I'm not talking about gameplay either, like it's kind of hard to explain. That bowser castle stage and the sunshine bonus level look great but the reworked Silph Co and Peach's Castle look weird to me as does Wispy Woods. Some of the animations on classic pit (assuming that's what it was) look kinda odd too. Semi-Unrelated but I've seen people call Ryu a P:M Lucario rip-off unironically and lol.

Why did they turn Lucario into Ryu anyway? I mean fair enough if they wanted to rework Aura but seems odd to just trash the character into something else entirely.

Lucas, Wario, Pit, Ivysaur and ZSS are similarly overhauled. Some stay mostly the same like Wolf, Ike, Olimar, Diddy, Dedede and Meta Knight because they're a good enough fit for a Melee style game how they are. I like it personally, it gives Project M more of a unique flavour. Now that they've added auto L-cancelling there's nothing I don't love about PM.

It's force palm in all other scenarios, however) down B (now a spacing tool instead of a counter) and neutral air (Ryu's tatsumaki senpukyaku instead of swinging both arms while spinning) are the only three moves they completely replaced, everything else was adapted from Brawl with buffs and nerfs but mixed up with a super system and a magic system to make him more interesting than the aura gimmick that Brawl had.
It really bothers me how CPU Ryu isn't subject to input tells (moving in certain ways during execution of a motion, most noticeable for the half-circle fireball) and can throw input moves out instantly. The AI can do his special inputs faster and more reliably than is possible for a human. [editline]24th June 2015[/editline] They don't seem to have to do the motion at all, from what I can tell. The game treats the motion as a single button.
