super smash bros - LEAK TIME AGAIN (RECAP: Yes, they're really adding Krystal from Star Fox, videos

The only problem I have with clones is that Dark Pit got elevated to the illusion of seemingly like a Nintendo All-Star when he is a really minor side character who started as a recolor, yet because he's a separate character (unlike Alph), he gets to make cameos now in games like Yoshi's Woolly World, yet there are tons of major characters from unrepresented series that sold way better and have far bigger fanbases that don't get to receive the same privileges.
What IS Dark Pit's difference from Pit? because while I was testing for changes in the latest patch I decided to compare them side to side and Dark Pit and Pit almost do the same percentage with all of their moves with the exception of a couple. And even then the percent differences are usually extremely minor.
You can't influence the direction of Dark Pit's arrows as much. That's basically it.
Side b also launches in a different direction and some customs work differently. You can give Dark Pit a counter for example

he's dark
god that's stupid. they could've at least given him the dr. mario treatment like how i initially thought he was

Must be a player named Yogurt or some shit

You can also give Pit a counter.
I'm still so confused that they gave each Koopaling a separate voice, yet kept Godzilla Bowser. It makes him feel so out of place. Same goes with DK's actual gorilla voice.
At least the godzilla voice fits Bowser, there's no reason why Donkey Kong should have a similarly monstrous voice, especially considering he's been shown to actually talk in his own games.

I guess for dk and diddy they're going for a dkc classic approach where they did have the monkey voices
dk's should at least be super goofy though, not fuckin tiger growls

Literally the exact same could be said about Bowser who has had full english voice work in sunshine and numerous voice clips in other games (SHOWTIME!) etc.
Godzilla noises are trash, apparently all the fat characters have to sound like idiots (and Samus has to sound like a aircan getting punctured)
It's especially weird because they upped the visual gags on donkey kong and Dedede but kept these really weirdly out of place monster noises for them
what exactly is the intended result supposed to be
I just want to hear Donkey saying the classic DK64 "OKAY!" in Smash.

Sakurai voiced De3 in brawl, apparently comical "HARUMPHS" and stuff didn't sit with him and instead he figured the comical antihero should get possessed by satan

yes

Where's his scarf
Where's his scarf
TSM will probably make one
Sakurai voiced De3 in brawl, apparently comical "HARUMPHS" and stuff didn't sit with him and instead he figured the comical antihero should get possessed by satan
oh yeah heaven forbid anyone take the big grinning penguin with a giant hammer as anything less than totally serious lol
The best thing about zero joining TSM is that now I can say did TSM wonned in a Smash stream and it'll be relevant.
Big Band as guest character pls
ok more on this because LOL why not. here is his moveset in Skullgirls.
jab - Honky Tonk. chains twice. for those unfamiliar: small clown horn (think HONK HONK)
ftilt - Pneumatic Slide. wouldn't say it chains twice like in his home game. for those unfamiliar:
two trombones extend out from big band
utilt - Bass Drop. for those unfamiliar: Big Band blasts all around him with various horns
dtilt - Glissando. would not chain. for those unfamiliar: two trombone slides extend out.
fsmash: Kick Stand. More or less a drop kick, but mounted in place.
usmash: Saximum. for those unfamiliar: a gigantic saxophone swings forwards to upwards (same hitbox shape as, say, Ganon's usmash)
dsmash: Giant Step. for those unfamiliar: an oversized bass drum kick pedal hits the ground in a sweeping motion. small windbox like ganondorf's utilt.
nair: Jelly Roll. for those unfamiliar: a tambourine spins roughly down-forward underneath Big Band.
fair: one of his j.P moves (probably j.MP) for those unfamiliar: one small blast forwards from the pads on the side of his cloak.
dair: Sweet Clarinet. for those unfamiliar: a clarinet extends out from underneath Big Band.
bair: probably fair but stronger (like Villager's f/bair are similar, but bair is more powerful, etc)
neutral B: Brass Knuckles. for those unfamiliar: the best move ever. Big Band swings out a large, metal fist made of musical instruments forwards. similar to Warlock / Falcon punch, but faster and weaker.
side B: Strike up the Band. for those unfamiliar: Big Band kicks forward, unleashing a 'wave' of music stands. would not do what it does in-game (that'd be stupidly overpowered); would only hit with the stands.
up B: this is tough, as Big Band's only move that would work as an upwards based attack is Saximum. I'm not sure what to do for this.
down B: Cymbal Clash. You don't have to play Skullgirls to know this..
dash attack: Super Sonic Jazz. for those unfamiliar: a gigantic french horn wraps around Big Band as he launches forward. Would not last as long or be as hard hitting as it is in Skullgirls.
grab would be Death Toll. Big Band encloses his enemy in a bell. pummel would shake it as it does in the second half of his grab. up/down throw would be some sort of different release from this. side throws would be Take the A Train, which is like Brass Knuckles in appearance, but grabs and hits the enemy. in this case, it would just throw them after hitting once. sorta works like a pile driver.
uptaunt would be his in-SG taunt, Bagpipe Blues
side taunt could pull out and play a little ditty on his s.MP trumpet
down taunt would pull out a saxophone and play, just as he does in victory animations
last but totally least, final smash. Timpani Drive. for those unfamiliar: Big Band gets aboard five or six airborne timpani drums; as he beats them, they erupt downwards. flies, and controllable.
idk I never thought I'd do something like this and it'd never get in but this would make a fun character that plays like Ganondorf and other heavies in terms of risk/reward and speed / damage output
I'm a Big Band fan but if there's one character that should represent Skullgirls in Smash, it's definitely Peacock.
so I guess now that I can't really main Ganondorf competitively I'll check out Ike. He's rather fun to play and damn that nair is great

eh, I don't know how well she'd work. I don't have much experience with her moveset, though as it's a six button I'm sure you could get an easily working moveset. someone just mentioned a musical or rhythmic character
It's Sakurai's birthday.
国内外から、たくさんの誕生日メッセージをいただきました。恐縮です。どうもありがとうございました! Thanks for a lot of birthday wishes!
The Moonspeak pretty much translates to "I got a lot of birthday wellwishing from overseas. It's very kind of them. Thank you very much!"
Happy birthday, samurai. Too bad you probably can't rest your swordhand what with all the DLC you're making.

Why would a game that has never been even hinted at being on being on a nintendo system get a rep?
Why would a game that has never been even hinted at being on being on a nintendo system get a rep?
it wouldn't - someone earlier mentioned that they'd like a musical or rhythmic based character (like rhythm heaven) and I semi-jokingly replied Big Band

There's a thing called dreaming.

Must of missed that, whoops. Was just curious as to what was going on with that v:v:v
