fun fact one match I lost my first stock when my opponent had 140ish on his last stock, and I just opened the stock up with ikes side taunt and he just jumped off the ledge to his death
he knew what was coming
Why I love playing as Mewtwo.

[sp]That second kill was by accident, I wasn't expecting him to use the cape.[/sp]
I absolutely agree with this man who post great videos
I only taunt after a particularly good read/punish or really lucky hit, and only if there's nothing better I could be doing at that moment (IE, if I'm a character with a low jump and my opponent got sent too far up to reach for a bit)
If I'm playing as Captain Falcon. I will always taunt if I land a knee or a falcon punch.
I'm pretty sure there's a written law somewhere about this.

alpharad did a video about it
falcon punch to down taunt is a true combo
i enjoy falco as a char in SSBM he's got shit going for him ,such as , laser. Shine. ETC. Do You Agree? Maybe you do or don't. But that's what i think. I Think Falco is my playstyle. SSSBM is a really nice game, I enjoy it, comopetitive level. Do you agree? Possibly. Maybe Not. Maybe. PPMD is my favourite player, I enjoy his style, and his Neutral Game. I Study His Vidoess, And I'm Inspired. He' has a style that I can get behind. I want to be like him in my life. I also really like Weston Dennis AKA West Ballz, He's got really nice punishes, that I really Think are good to watch. WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO! Etc.
who here likes super smash bros as a franchise?

Firstly, yes. Super Smash Bros is the most exciting part of each console generation for me, and that's including Zelda titles on the list of contenders.
Secondly, that is the most erratically structured paragraph I've ever seen that isn't just complete nonsense. I suggest seeing a grammatician and getting that checked out.

But yeah, Smash is usually one of the bigger reasons I keep coming back to a system as time goes on. My 3DS is an SSB4 handheld at this point, and Brawl was one of the only things I ever played on my Wii about a year or so before the U's announcement.

Was anyone else kinda irked on how they did the sword around 7:42? It seemed like they based it entirely off of that one lowpoly sword. I know they did that for the rest of the character and his sword might have actually looked blocky to some extent, but the low-poly sword itself looked awfully simple in comparison to the other aspects of the model, and I think they could have made it look a little more interesting, like base the hilt of the sword off of the one in the artwork below so that it didn't look like a subdivided t-shaped prism.

I somehow managed to stay alive to 319% as DHD against a friend's highly competent Ryu.
His kill moves kept clashing with my jabs and I'd always deploy a gunman if I knew he was going to grab me, so I kept barely surviving every advance. I ALMOST 3-stocked him, would've had that if he didn't ledge trump me into a reversed shoryuken, which I don't think he thought out all that well because he ended up falling to his death since that put him too far from the ledge and used up his recovery :v:
Had no idea that dog had that much survivability. Guess that's the trade-off for being somewhat limited in kill moves.

I fucking love WestBallz he's the only spacie i really enjoy watching. He's like m2k skills but with no regard for his own stock.
You know, with all the shit going on with Konami and it's decent into the realms of madness, I wonder how people would react if Simon Belmont got a surprise reveal for smash?
They'd probably make comments like "Simon saved" or "Nintendo did justice where Konami didn't".
Just like Mega Man.

"When's Snake?"

I'm still waiting for some super mastermind Duck Hunt player to come along and just beat everyone.

This is what he's like in 1 on 1 conversations

Just on the surface he seems like a character who would make for very, very complex and entertaining TAS play, particularly with some customs like the zigzag can.
Rosalina, Villager, Pacman and ROB would also be good candidates for frame-perfect gameplay.
[editline]t[/editline]
Maybe Shulk too. Perfect use of hyper arts could net a KO in under ten seconds, and another in under 25 total.
It bothers me that the English version changed "Pikmin & Olimar" to just "Olimar", but didn't change "Rosalina & Luma" to just "Rosalina".
I'm also waiting on a master Shulk to appear.
Japan already has master Villager in Ganbaranai and Pacman in Abadango.

I get people want the IC's back, but they can't seriously be wasting their votes on that when sakurai has clearly stated they won't work on 3DS and therefore will never be on wii u either
then again people are kinda dumb
Isaac and Ray? As in Golden Sun Isaac and Custom Robo Ray? Hell I'd be happy with them and Inklings in and Wolf returning. Any additional characters after that would just be even more icing on the cake.
no love for squirtle
Out of that list I'd be quite happy with Ray or Isaac. Ray getting in could be what Custom Robo needs to get a franchise revival too.

If we're doing returning veterans Squirtle would be cool.
Why is Magolor so popular? He appeared in one game, and doesn't even do anything [sp]until he betrays kirby, which is even more reason to not want him.[/sp]
At least Bandana Waddle Dee is reoccurring.

I would want Ice Climbers as a DLC character as their gameplay is entirely unique. It's the same deal with Snake, I feel like you get more for your DLC buck when the characters are from a different series with a completely new playstyle. Plus they're pretty cool.
I just don't want more sword characters or Mario universe characters
I want the next Fire Emblem character to be added either as Dlc (overwhelmingly unlikely) or in the next game, to use a spear or axe or anything that isn't a standard protagonist sword. One of Fire Emblem's big things is the weapon triangle, it's silly to have four Lords and Lucina who gets a pass because clone who all use swords.
The problem is it's hard to find an RPG-ish protagonist who doesn't use a sword. It's the default hero weapon.

Zelda/Shiek and Samus/Zero Suit were split into two characters and Olimar's pikmin count was bumped down to 3 from 6. These were changes made in consideration for 3ds hardware but turned out to be better for the characters in the long run as they could be more fleshed out on their own.
Ice Climbers could come back if and only if their mechanics were changed to no longer rely on an AI companion. The character could reasonably become a merged fighter like how dog and duck come together for Duck Hunt. The unique pull of the character would, instead of an AI copycat, would be delayed and disjointed hitboxes that could be used to set up a tricky multi-hitting combo game.
Expecting them to be brought back as they were before is foolish, but completely dismissing the character before considering other alternatives is almost just as foolish.
