what are your guys' rituals when playing smash? all the little routines you do out of boredom, or practice, or spontaneity?
for example: when playing Captain Falcon, i start out in his grey uniform (the Dredd costume, as i call it), then as i win battles, give the uniform more color. so he starts out grey (like -1, the 'depowered' state), then after a win, goes to the standard outfit (0), then the blue/gold outfit (+1), and finally the golden uniform (+2) to represent a winning streak of 3 games or more. if i lose a match, it's back down to grey
whenever I start playing for glory, I always start with ganondorf
I don't really have any, but earlier today I played number of games with a dude, and after the last game he went Zelda, did the wave taunt a couple times and SD'd, then left.
Thought that was kinda cute.
I usually do a series of taunts with Ike, beginning of the match it's "Prepare yourself" then if I lose a stock its his little grunt and charge up and then if I win by a long shot its his sword in the ground taunt.
With Villager I always do his dance every chance I get, its so cute.

Layton's VA tweet before his account went private is highly suspicious though. If I wasn't so doubtful because of the explosion of fake leaks I would say that's pretty much a confirmation.
But yeah, it has happened many times before and was either fake (Shantae) or real (Shulk) so anything goes.
Personnally I think Layton should have been in Smash since Brawl and his utter lack of representation in any form is a complete disgrace.

I've noticed that Jigglypush's hop+airdodge is basically a perfect counter for the arc of many of Rosalina's attacks. Use this knowledge wisely.

I think jigglypuff is actually a really good counter for Sheik and Zero Suit (with sparing air dodges to get around her aerial moves), and a lesser extent Rosalina. The livability on just dash attacks and tilts is perfect for these matchups too.
That all turns to shit when you get to Luigi though, who can kill you pretty consistently off of 2 grabs. In those situations it's important to have secondaries who can help counter Luigi (I choose Falco and Marth cause I'm a massive low tier whore)

Jigglypuff being a counter to all 3 of those characters is good enough to me, as that's like 50% of for glory right there
dataminers just found that the last patch also reduced the amount of self hitlag on shield for roy, ryu, marth and ike.

tweek, the bowser junior player, has a decent amount of good results tho.
also he just pulled off his wario and 3-0'd salem's robin and zss.
the character diversity is real, we have 11 fighters for a top 8

The competitive play for Smash 4 has really gotten faster. I don't know if it's mostly from the patch changes or just meta development but I really like how the game is played at high levels now. Even Dabuz can't slow the matches down.
