The shape of the drawing fits the model really well, and it's a cool design overall! If you're interested I have two suggestions.
1: The drawing is great, but because of the context (being seen in-game) I would suggest making your outlines slightly thicker, and I would lose the smooth gradients where you're implying the highlights and stick with a sharper brushstroke. Basically make it a little more "cartoony" and less "painterly"
2: I think the blue-green-red work very well, I think the design would be much stronger if you replaced that bright yellow/green with either the red from the dragons mouth/eyes, or that teal color from the fin thing on it's back.
I do quite like the idea, nice work! I look forwward to seeing what you come up with next. :D

I'm new to this modelling stuff, does anybody have any idea why my UV map is blurring out like this? when i move the window around it goes back to normal. its very strange :/

Probably because the texture is huge and the lines are tiny so when it's zoomed out like that it can't display lines smaller than a pixel properly.
If you're having trouble with the uv map consider extracting the default p2k texture and editing that.
You can find the default textures in csgo/pak01_dir.vpk, inside that materials/models/weapons/v_models/

Hey guys! Been quite busy recently with a lot of workshop stuff. This one was a test to see how well a pattern I made would work as an Anodized paint job. I kind of understand why there aren't a lot of Dual B skins, mostly because the UVs are shitty. Anyways, here it is!
(Edit: You can see on the seond baretta on the bottom left with the texture wrapping happening near the middle above the trigger. I tried to hide this as much as possible, but this is as best I could muster without the texture looking like complete shit)

As mentioned before, I'm quite busy with the workshop, and it's mostly this collection I'm working on called "Bento Bandit". Bento Bandit is a theme based on the art of Japanese bento (packed lunch boxes). The goal here is to sort of mimic the compartmentalized nature of the bento, and implement that as a design on the weapon, while still keeping a relatively interesting design. Since most traditional bento boxes are red (different shades, sometimes), black, pale-gold and white in color, I decided to use those colors for my design as well. here's a WIP of a Deagle in the Bento Bandit style:
(Edit: Don't mind the fact there are several strange or odd faces, those are what the .OBJ model came with, these errors are not noticable or present in-game as far as I know)

Well, I'm not sure whether it looks like a mess or not now. Battle scarred looks somewhat like the old version's factory new. Wear makes it darker still.

It sort of is but I actually think it has more character this way, it looks like it came out of a snowstorm. It is also somewhat more identifiable from a distance.
I don't know, I might just end up making 2 versions and see what happens.
This will probably be my final revision for this 'obvious' version.

Oh, it actually looks good in-game. I think it was the workbench preview that did not help much.
Also, are your graphics settings at low? Could you some how just up the textures to take some screens ? It feels like it could look much better when graphics on high.

Are the colors/pattern 'random' like Glock Grinder or you did all these variations ?
On first two pic, pattern is random, but now i did variations and only Battle-Scarred quality.

I really like the idea behind this. Think you need to mess around with this a bit more, maybe tweak the color of the grip or something or highlight the edges.
