I've seen this particular argument everywhere, and it never really hold any ground. The journey exists because you're going to a destination. What if your destination is so shit it makes the journey feel like an exercise in futility?
Granted, I still love the rest of the series, but a huge part of why I (and a lot of other people) enjoyed it was because it kept building up the mystery of the Reapers and making us wonder how they could possibly be defeated. The ending completely tossed that out the window by "explaining" it in the dumbest way possible and making all of our actions feel trivial and pointless. Kind of hard to feel motivated after that.
Speaking of Mass Effect 3, that reminds me of a bug that would randomly happen when I tried to move to the side.

I could play this level all day if it never ended. The variety of how you can do it is so fun. Blowing out tires, grappling them to things (like the bridge and watching them flip over the side), dragging enemies behind the car, making the gas station explode...the list goes on.
Before I got the game I was a bit unsure but now I know why people like it.

This game sure is pretty, but the gameplay sucks.
It's like the developers spent all of their budget on the scenes and stuffs. Seriously there are a bunch of small details in this game and it is very good-looking, but the combat very stiff and repetitive.

I got the crazy civilian AI mod just to replicate this mission, along with a mod that increases police response to heat. So much fun.

Save everything. Get rewarded with homoerotic armor. On the plus side every attack that hits you does jack shit in terms of damage.
Sacrifice everything. Get rewarded with awesome looking demon armor (but also almost always die in one hit from everything.)
