Just a quick sort of query. With the Steam Summer Sale about and a lot of people considering where exactly to place their now frugal amounts of money would people posting games that are currently on the sale and may not be as well known to people or have simply just gone under the radar also give just a brief sort of review of how they are finding that particular game. I know it's a bit of a piss-take but I've used this thread to find a lot of really interesting games and I think it would be beneficial for everyone if we had a go at it.

I've only gotten a few games this sale season. I posted pictures from Clive Barker's Jericho a couple pages back and that is one of the games I've purchased along with The Cat Lady and Dawn of War 2 Retribution.
Jericho got a lot of shit when it was released. It's a poor FPS with retarded team AI that is only exacerbated by the fact you need to care for 6 AI babies in the middle of combat. However, it was a highly enjoyable experience for me. It's an astoundingly disgusting game filled with some of the grossest settings in games I have ever played. It's story, which is written by the man who made Hell Raiser, is highly captivating and goes through some very interesting periods of time. It's on sale for less than two dollars and with a price like that, its entirely justified only to experience the world and the fiction.
The Cat Lady I'm still playing, but it's a very scary and disturbing adventure game. It's all about death, depression, the surreal and self worth. If you're at all into exploring the concept of suicide and the psychology of depression then it's so very much worth it.

I like this visible lightning mod in Solstheim.
I'm testing downsampled video recording for a projects in skyrim. So here is one of the only working 4k captures I got before skyrim crashed.
This is running at 15fps with no ENB turned on right now. SweetFX is on through to do some SMAA and sharpening.
But the whole point was ENB and 4k, this is going to be a struggle.

downsampling makes for some great image quality. Sucks that it eats up my performance so much though.
Since people didn't get this was an excited test for 4k renderin working.

Main subject matter is usually near the center of the screen, but only the bottom of the screen is clear of DOF.
When it comes to Photography, the main subject matter is clear and displayed without any blurring.

Unless you want your views to look at the bottom of their screens, or this is only temporary for a video, or you are still working out the kinks, I think you should change it. But that's just my 2 cents

I recently got a new gaming rig off a friend, had MP3 on pc since release but could only run it low on my old pc with lag, now I can run it all at [i]max[/i] and wow it is amazing graphically and ofcourse gameplay wise...

Is that enemies are wearing all this gear and body armor, max just runs around bare naked
On the hard difficulty, I kept on wondering why the hell I'm not picking up armor from enemies that I shot in the head, or something. At least I might survive a bit longer.
Albeit the story was kinda.. Eh. The animations, technology behind it, was baffling.
I just wish the cutscenes didn't have that "wwzzzt" screen effect bullshit.
