I think it looks nice
I don't get the fact that developers think it's fun, glorious and ~artistic~ to put an effect in the game that both lens as well as camera manufacturers have been constantly trying to eradicate.
It's like a counter-measure to a good artistic direction.
The hell is chromatic aberation? You talking about how those lines end up looking like an old 3D image? I don't understand the point of that effect, either. It's ugly and hurts my eyes

The only place I've seen chromatic aberration is in the hud and it's not that bothering. and you can always try playing with the hud off.

Planetside 2 seems kind of dead for me, or at least on my server. Everyone just freecaps their own continents for XP and no fighting ever happens.

Did they fix the weapons feeling and sounding like little toys?
I never really enjoyed Payday. I played a couple games after buying it on sale, but it has extremely limited ammo, and hordes of enemies (like, left 4 dead level hordes), but each enemy takes an entire mag to take down on normal.
Without proper teamwork and tactics Payday is impossible (at least in my experience).

From videos, the sounds outdoors sound pretty beefy/distorted/realistic as one would in an urban environment. Indoors they sound a bit, meh, In my opinion

IMO it looks nice when you supposedly have a hud on your "helmet", kind of like in Syndicate. But sticking it randomly, hell no.
