Did someone throw a flashbang, light a flashlight or is the game just that fucking bright?

It's a flashlight, a really really bright one.

Like, I recently realized why I was installing countless skyrim mods and still not getting any enjoyment out of actually playing the game. It was because I was missing what made the game just unpleasant to play; the criminally low FOV and the fact that any enb outside turned the game into a laggy, blurry, bloomy mess
I mean in isolation the low FOV, low FPS and filter rape aren't too much of a problem but combined they just make the game annoying as fuck to play.
Well then be glad to know that you dont need an enb to make skyrim look nice, here are some screenshots of skyrim using a combination of mods that improve textures, models and pretty much everything. I get about 40-60 fps.

I don't have a problem, on average FPS outside is 30, dipping to 20 briefly in extremely high grass areas. Inside the average FPS jumps to around 45 - 50. The FOV is original Skyrim FOV. I do dislike how bright the sky is but believe it or not bloom settings are mostly low within the ENB itself. I think my problem lies with some sky settings and some possible readjustment of those and adaptation settings may make it a bit prettier.

Also, not to nitpick, I am just perplexed.
If you are missing what makes the game unpleasant, shouldn't that make it enjoyable?

I do want to tone down the sky's bloom, just having a hard time tweaking the ENB, thanks though.

What ENB version are you running? If it's any of the later ones, press Shift and Enter at the same time and it will bring up the customization tool. From there, go to the "Bloom" section and you can see the edits in realtime.
It's pretty funny seeing how every time someone posts an ENB they think its beautiful and then the rest of thread doesn't want anything to do with it.
It's pretty funny seeing how every time someone posts an ENB they think its beautiful and then the rest of thread doesn't want anything to do with it.
ENBs tend to vary a lot in appearance so I suppose it makes sense that each one posted only appeals to a small group.
On the other hand, a lot of ENBs tend to go completely batshit with the contrast, bloom, and color saturation.

Skryim doesnt use gamebryo, skyrim uses a inhouse engine called Creation engine.
Morrowind and Oblivion used gamebryo

It's an updated version of Gamebryo they decided to call something different.

*shrugs* I re-calibrated my monitor yesterday and the nights look fine to me. I can see everything in the environment, though the shadows are actually too bright, which I haven't figured out how to fix. Right now they just go to a mild gray, which looks ridiculous.

He has a kind of unsharp mask on object. It's just a little strong I think.
Skyrim pics always brings that disgusting feeling about how bad the game is.
