Vehicles were terrible, it was impossible to keep track and stay with your friends, and I went into the shop zone and it was full of huge MLP pony posters and a HL3 symbol. Most confusing game I played in the last 4 years.

Yeah, let's not forget horrible optimization because half of engine is UE3 2008, other half is UE3 2010, then it was all butchered with terrible coding.
Basically you have NO guarantees that APB will work on your PC. It can run fine on old PCs in some cases and in the same time lag like shit on $2000 PC.
And of course the terrible community with massive paranoia. Believe me, before and after APB you'll have different opinions of cheaters in other games.

Correct, although I wouldn't say guns feel weak, they're just more like toy guns (especially PMG). Also dumb low TTK which makes the combat feel like Counter-Strike, and it's one of my most hated games ever.
Also, I would recommend to think twice before buying anything from ARMAS. You have NO guarantees that you won't get banned. Trust me.

Regarding the discussion of video capture on the last page, I'd recommend [URL="http://obsproject.com/"]Open Broadcasting Software[/URL], it was originally made for streams, but can be easily set to store files locally, I never get any framerate issues with it, and it's free, so there's no reason not to try it, really.

You get used to the car handling in like half an hour
guns feel "eh" but that's not that much of a problem
the actually bad parts are how the small mission size makes for some extremely frustrating missions, how terribly the game runs (it doesn't say it outright, but you're really gonna need 8 gigs of RAM and a 64 bit system if you want to run it without poopy textures and tons of stuttering) and how terrible the community, and as a consequence, the developers are
if you can ignore these things (which anyone who still plays it has) it's an incredibly fun and addictive game with an insanely cool customization system
