I think I figured it out, the reason it won't work is because my Live ran out last month, and because it's on automatic renewal the system expects you to renew the subscription every year around the same month and day.
I didn't renew it so it seems that they suspended my account until it's renewed or I cancel the automatic renewal, except I can't do that because Xbox.com's "My Account" feature is broken right now, so I have to call Microsoft's Billing department in order to fix it.[/QUOTE]

The good thing is that the codes dont' seem to activate with your account, so just make a temp one. I've used like 10 Live accounts on my GTA4 copy.

xbox.com's my account shit is constantly broken, so you have to call to disable the defaulted automatic billing, so people don't think of it, and even when they do it's a pain in the ass to get rid of, and microsoft makes more money.

You can't play the campaign with mods, unless they're mods that don't change the default factions (Eastern Front) and mods that change damage and skins.
so i tried out that opencamera mod thing for gta iv that removes the video editor's camera distance restrictions
