So should we make a separate thread for all of these Simplify pictures?
no cause people are gonna lose interest in them after awhile and then its back to normal
So should we make a separate thread for all of these Simplify pictures?
No. It'll be a recurring thing, but not on the level it's at now. I reused old screenshots since I'm more into gifs, I'll probably return to that with some simplify on the side every once in a while.
Can someone comment on my video please :).
Let's run this into the ground

Isn't it essentially turning a video into separate images, applying the filter to images and then putting it back into a video?

Yes.
Topaz in video form looks kinda shit because of the framerate. Drop it down to an animation framerate and you'll get a much better look. 8-12 should be good.

also stop topaz'ing so much, try judge your image first and if it's really exceptional then post that instead of clogging the thread with 8 shitty renditions of it.
I wish you'd have chosen a bit more eventful video because that one has a whole lot of the same thing in it.
Could save some time rendering it too.
I chose it A) I already had the raw file ready to go, B) it is very colorful C) I wanted to re-promote the video D) bitches

Also for those looking to do this to video. Give me... like until tonight I'm going to do a tutorial on it. it's WAY easier than you think.
Just make the video a smart object, apply topaz, render out of vegas as a lossless quicktime. Super easy.

System Shock 2 with a ton of graphic improving mods, it's impressive what modding communities can do.
i'm surprised no one has decided to topaz simplify bioshock infinite

Also, I've been playing with the idea of hybridization, keeping details in the foreground and simplifying the background:

Basically frame by frame editing. Believe me, I've had to do a lot of that with keyframes for special effects. Let's just say playing music at the same time helps :v:

I never understood the appeal of beauty mods. I like playing the games as they were meant to be. Resolution hacks and such are fine but completely changing every model? Nah, that's going too far.

Don't get me wrong, I love old graphics, but most people can't stand to see horrible graphics, it really brings them out of the game for a multitude of reasons (it's just kin unimmersive to have shit graphics, idk), making the game at least come close is useful for retaining a lot of people's immersion.

If you're playing the game for the first time, I agree you should have everything as it was (excluding resolution hacks and such) but if you've already played the game for X times it's fine to have such mods that change the game so that the game won't be the same everytime you replay it.
And, let's face it, vanilla System Shock 2 has some really terrible graphics. It has a good aesthetic to make up for it, but there's no harm in bumping up the texture resolution and smoothing out some of the models.
That's not to say all graphics mods are good. SS2 Rebirth will forever be an example of how not to stay true to an artstyle while pretending that you are.
I'm a little late to this, but I promise it is the only one I will post!

Skyrim.
Has anyone done it on TF2 ?
Should also do it on XIII :v:
played a bit of SR3.
the video is horrible, don't worry. just has some good moments of why should you mod your SR: TT.

SR3 is horrible? What? It's a great game.

I usually don't mod games to have better graphics, I just felt like modding SS2.
