it took me like five minutes to get near 4k (3400x1920 @ 59hz) on both of my 23" native 1080p asus monitors
my 120hz monitor can do 1440p @ 78 Hz which is p cool too

Because monitors vary and my ZR30w is extremely strict with things, even if the scaling is not done on the screen it still won't allow for it, so I ended up finding that running ONLY my tv via HDMI I can do 3840x2160 at 40hz, but set to 30hz for LA Noire simplicity.

The writing in IP and heavy rain is so ridiculously bad that it's quite funny
So, I figured out how to disable the cell shading in Borderlands 2 (it turns off the black outlines and the shading effect that makes it look comic-book-esque). turning off that and the framerate limiter also boosts performance noticeably.

forgive the aliasing, the only AA B2 has is FXAA, which just blurs everything so you don't notice the jaggies, and I don't know how to downsample.
