max payne 3 is one of the only games left that i constantly go back to play again and again because the gameplay is just so fucking good

the ridiculous amount of polish rockstar games always have is a huge boon to the replayability as well

and none of those features matter to me, which is why i wrote "for me"

fraps records uncompressed video, obviously it's going to be big and it doesn't split files anymore (since april of last year)

Fraps recently added that option to keep it in one file. It has always split before.

If you install open sauce then you'll have a built in map downloader.

Did you try opening up ports when you want to host? Sins of a Solar Empire helped me in learning how to host servers properly since it has that useful button on the side of the multiplayer menu.
