A shame I'll never feel like playing these games ever again since the endings sucks so much. It's like every time I feel like playing, I remember the endings and say "pff fuck it,". It's like the whole story has no point.

I always thought that's a fucking stupid as hell mentality, how the hell does the ending being bad have ANY effect on the experience? The experience is EXACTLY the same, the ending being bad doesn't change a single thing. The only way the ending can ruin the whole game is if you ONLY care about the ending and once you know that, the game becomes pointless to you.

It's the story I care the most, and if the ending is bullshit, it makes the whole story feel pointless. That's what I say. The games themselves are good, the gameplay is fun and all. It's the story I feel like it's a waste.

The TIM textures are just the default textures (Bioware did a really great job on those) but yeah, the Miranda one is custom. I hate her catsuit so I decided to redesign it for ME2 and ME3, with the ME3 one taking on the Alliance-esque color scheme because a Cerberus fugitive still wearing her Cerberus outfit was retarded :v:

I had a tough time getting over the disappointing ending as well but I've learned to enjoy the story again. Ending aside, the rest of the story and characters are pretty spectacular and it's still remarkable just how much the story can change based on your decisions. I know people like to say that the decisions you make have no bearing on how the story ends...but I'd contest that claim and even go so far as to say they're provably wrong.
Still, if you can't find enjoyment in it I can't fault you for it; the Extended Cut helped immensely but the ending is still fundamentally flawed.

Watch in HD to get all the detail, the wet tires are a nice realistic touch.
IMO the replayability of mass effect is a tad overrated; there's quite a bit of content that's revealed through your decisions in earlier games but not that much, and a lot of it just takes the form of some bullshit email that the devs obviously threw in at the last minute. I guess it's worth replaying onece, twice at a push but any more and you're pushing it.
I think I'll leave it a year or two then go back to the series; ME3 was underwhelming but you could see the roots of all that in ME2 and besides, time heals all wounds.
