I baked my motherboard and got it back for about a month (It was one of the older fat models of PS3) but then that failed, so i took it apart and re-did it all. New thermal paste, and baked it again. It ran even better than the first time i tried, and i was thrilled. I unhooked it to move it to my room...and the HDMI port went out.

So I wanna revisit Vice City on pc, but the crosshair is off-center when selecting a widescreen resolution and the FPS is capped at 30, any way to fix?

And I think there are widescreen fix mods available. I don't know if they'd help your crosshair problem, however. It's certainly worth a try!
And I thought, that if you run the game on a really really good PC, and turn off the frame limiter, the game runs at a much faster pace than it should? If that's the case, I'm sure there are mods to raise the cap to 60, or 120.

You'll have to make a female character today in order to get it and sign in each day to get the new shirts.

It's also a CLEO mod, and it lets you set the frame limiter to 0-99 FPS. You need to have the frame limiter turned on in options, though.

The mod does NOT require CLEO, it's an ASI file/script.
Do NOT use the GTAGarage version of the mod, I help the author testing and that's the old version.

Don't ever change the FPS of the III Era games above 30, it'll break the game hard, trust me, I know it's hard but you'll get used to it.
For some dumb reason Rockstar made the FPS in SA PC be 25fps, so another coder called Silent is doing a huge patch for the game, fixing stuff like helicopter propellers rotating with a nice effect like in the PS2 version of the game.

It'll be released really soon, for now some people are testing it looking for issues to fix, keep an eye out on that topic if you can. For now, check the first post on that thread for the III and VC versions of it that add missing PS2 props and fixes the rain reflections and more cool stuff like that.
And a reminder about ASI mods: III and VC support them natively, just throw them on main folder or the mss folder, but for SA you'll need Silent's ASI Loader.
