Just because you see NPCs wearing the clothes in the video doesn't mean they haven't made new ones that players can wear.

Almost all animations are shared, so any character on the same skeleton (aka most males, and females too for female actions) can do anything that the MP characters can.

why would they demonstrate the new player parachutes by taking player models, putting the parachutes on them, and then changing their skin to be NPC uniforms? that doesn't serve any purpose at all other than being deceptive
