Doesn't matter, I don't live in California.
..his point still doesn't change. only rarely do you see $100k+ cars on the street, and usually they look just like the ones in the traffic cycle. also, it's not just because it doesn't make any sense canonically (which it doesn't and not living there isn't going to change that fact), why would you ever buy any super cars if you could find one that spawns every other block you travel in the city? [editline]sd[/editline] not to mention it's most definitely because they are DLC vehicles and if they were added to the traffic cycle, eventually all there would be is DLC vehicles in the traffic, technically. unless they mysteriously found a way to increase traffic rates without lowering the already terrible framerate
..his point still doesn't change. only rarely do you see $100k+ cars on the street, and usually they look just like the ones in the traffic cycle.
The usage of the word "rarely" fully validates my point so w/e
also, it's not just because it doesn't make any sense canonically (which it doesn't and not living there isn't going to change that fact), why would you ever buy any super cars if you could find one that spawns every other block you travel in the city?
lmao you act like that's what I meant in any way
not to mention it's most definitely because they are DLC vehicles and if they were added to the traffic cycle, eventually all there would be is DLC vehicles in the traffic, technically. unless they mysteriously found a way to increase traffic rates without lowering the already terrible framerate
I'm not sure one rng-picked supercar per every hundred'd do much to the framerate, honestly. My point is that there are no rare cars. GTAIV had occasional like, Turismos and Feltzers and shit. [editline]19th August 2014[/editline] Oh right, I came to this thread to join in with everyone saying formation flight is bullshit. "Doolie dicked it" No fucking shit, the plane doesn't even turn fast enough for me to stay in the group.
Am I the only person who had no trouble with the Formation flight? I did it and got gold on my first try.
Am I the only person who had no trouble with the Formation flight? I did it and got gold on my first try.
Same here, the formation ones were piss-easy. The flag and low-flying ones were a cunt for gold though.
Am I the only person who had no trouble with the Formation flight? I did it and got gold on my first try.
How exactly did you do the loop? No matter how I do it, the rotation is never fast enough.
I can't get this chute landing stuff done correctly. edit: nevermind after fucking 21 tries i got it god your character walks another 30 steps forward after landing
I can't get this chute landing stuff done correctly.
definitely broken, someone was talking about it within the last few pages, but i went in perfectly and landed both feet right inside the inner circle, and only got bronze. it said my distance was 6.3m, which was bullshit
I like my Sandking.
I'm not seeing the flight school DLC in the in game store [editline]20th August 2014[/editline] I found it on the dashboard
The Besra handles like such arse and yet you have to fly it in every single fucking jet mission. The low flying was literal hell, because the piece of fucking shit would either not turn fast enough (and thus hit something and explode), or it would turn too fast (and thus hit something and explode). And then there's the formation flying. I hope they fix the chute jump soon. I can't be arsed to keep replaying it to try and get gold no matter how much extra cash I get for it.
I found the best way to do the lowflying mission is to keep your landing gear deployed and only hold down the trigger in really open spots. It makes the jet fly slower so you have more time to turn and maneuver your plane.
Not sure if it's been posted yet but if you put on a vest shirt with a vest on and wear a buttoned suit jacket, you'll end up with belly button showing suit. Plus, I'm holding an invisible phone
I think a lot of people just can't fly very well, the challenges are very straightforward. Although the parachute landing mechanics are a bit wonky it's not difficult to hit replay and try again if you want the gold medal.
I am on the flag ones and oh my fucking god I was so close I had 21 or 22/30 flags but crashed and had to restart, plus the bullshit low fly challenge and possibly the other one made me pissed off.
So I just today discovered the comedy club in GTA4. Was driving past it and was like "Huh, I wonder what weird parody comedians are doing standup here..." " Ladies and gentlemen, Ricky Gervais! " Whaaaaat? Apparently quite a few standup comics had custom bits recorded just for the game, and while I know I'm years late on this, that's NUTS.

As in, try to aim for the outer ring of the landing target and hope that your character stops in the center. The time it takes you to get the chute is not important. That's what seemed to work for me.
i might be late, but my mental state finally turned white
Does Michael have a normal job? I have seen him after switching characters talking with someone through the phone like "I'll send it soon!" or something like that. He also mentions "It was a hard day at the office" when he arrives to his house. I have seen him leaving some building around Eclipse Towers too.
Dont read unless tou've beaten SP [sp]I thought it was implied he became a movie director? Before that, he may be speaking sarcastically, like robbing a bank and saying "another day at the office!"[/sp]
[sp]offscreen, he lives a 'normal' life with his family and his job as a movie producer, as an assistant / partner with Solomon Richards. sometimes you'll switch in on him leaving a restaurant saying, "great lunch, Sully!" or stuff like that. there are a few transition scenes where he's at the studio, too, either showing off the place to Jimmy, yelling at a security guard, or walking out[/sp]
Here is a start of our "Episodes from Russian" series. We have made these clips for so long and never really had the time to put them together. Now we are finally doing it >_>. Youtube really kills the quality though, I see if I can get better render options in Vegas. Please watch it and gimme some feeback about how to do it better for the next part: EDIT: Uploaded a little bit better version

I wouldn't try this in the windmill section.
They may have gotten rid of the -50% for repeating missions, but now rooftop rumble and coveted only pay like 10-12k. Thanks R*. Ive been collecting muscle and sports classics as my secondary character and was having trouble finding a Vigero, so of course as soon as I buy a Vigero I see one on the streets. Same thing happened when i bought an intruder on my main character.
They may have gotten rid of the -50% for repeating missions, but now rooftop rumble and coveted only pay like 10-12k. Thanks R*.
Don't try rushing through missions and also try some other missions. Mission payout is bigger if you take things slower and the other missions now pay pretty decently. Hell, even Blow Up paid me 9K and that mission takes literally no effort. :v:
I haven't played gta online in forever, but I plan on booting it up later today. What's the best way to level up/get money? I have like 1.5 mil from the bike selling glitch from forever ago but that's patched I assume. And is there any way to edit my characters looks? I would just make a new character because money carries over but I don't want to lose my level, unless someone tells me a way to quickly level with a new character.
How many people are you doing RR with? Cause you get a lot more money if you do it with 4.
I did it with 3 other people, but if you get more money for taking longer that's probably why i didn't get as much. We completely rushed it each time, using rpgs to take everything out quickly.
