I was able to get into PSN just fine a few minutes ago FYI
Flight School I can stand. It's just how easy it is for jets to spiral everywhere from a light nudge when you didn't expect them to
Fuck the helicopter shooting gallery, fuck it
Fuck the helicopter shooting gallery, fuck it
I found myself cursing it out because I would lose focus on how the helicopter works while getting angry in first person, bitching it out for floating backwards when all I want to do is look up
Are any of those as bullshit as Zero's missions in San Andreas?
Because god damn. Even thinking about Supply Lines is giving me PTSD.

I got way more than I needed to for gold by going up only a little bit away from the main gallery, and only turning using l1/r1, moving left and right, and ascending/descending. Don't even bother trying to aim up /down 'cause you'll just crash
Wow, looks like people found ANOTHER god mode glitch. Can't wait for things to be just like 1.15 again ._.
self-satisfying revenge story of the day:
i'm driving my Coquette, following all traffic rules because why not. all is swell until another player stops opposite me at an intersection. the light's red so stay still. a few seconds of silence, then a sticky bomb sails through the air and he blows me up for zero reason.
so i respawn, get my Coquette back, and see he's gone passive inside a clothing store. i call Merryweather and send mercenaries after him. i drive over to the shop just as they're getting out and surrounding the entrance. he realizes what's up and turns off passive, trying to shoot his way out of the store.
meanwhile, i sprint over to his Adder, parked on the sidewalk, and start pouring gasoline on the rear. i'm racing to throw down enough as he's beginning to take out the mercenaries one by one. when there's plenty of gasoline, i jump back in my Coquette, reverse near the gas, hold the brakes, and the rev the engine. he kills the goon at the entrance and runs out just as my exhaust fires, igniting the gasoline, and i tear off. when i brake several blocks later, i hear an explosion--'player name died.' so satisfying.
[sp]Pouring gasoline around a car and igniting it with car exhaust flames doesn't register you as the player who destroyed the car, thereby you don't get charged insurance fees or get hit with bad sport warnings. pls use this power for good and not evil[/sp]

oh my fucking god i love you
Well looks like the squeaker are gonna be in god mode once again with this update plus it's easier to do than last time from what I've heard... are you fucking serious.
One step forward two steps back?

Holy shit I didn't know I could even do that. This is amazing.
Fuck the helicopter shooting gallery, fuck it
the helicopter shooting gallery feels like you're just dangling from a string and you can't control where you go.
since IV, i've always thought that attack helicopters should be easier to use. cockpit view helps, but i've always wished i could hold down a button, like maybe B / circle, to lock elevation and orientation, then use the triggers to fire and the right stick to aim. awkwardly swinging forward and backward to try and get enough momentum to aim downward at an enemy on the ground is so frustrating
I love it when someone leaves their personal vehicle unlocked. I always drive it to the beach and bail before it actually goes into the water, if you do it right it doesn't register you as the one who smashed it.

How does one "do it right"?
Edit:
Weird I just launched the game and it asked me to readjust my brightness settings and now as I just switched to my online character I was asked to accept a Rockstar Games Online EULA
I was hoping that the shooting gallery in flight school would involve hitting moving targets out in the desert with rockets and miniguns which would be useful. Instead the shooting gallery is a lesson of how to get shot in the face almost immediately while using a Buzzard, especially if you're against players.

Bail out, while still on land, at the right time so that the momentum drives the car into the ocean, but not you.
So R* has had like ~16 months for the PC version. I wonder how well they did.
I mean you gotta remember they also did Xbone and PS4 but still, 16 months.
Compare it to some games having a development cycle of 18 months. And this is just a port, it's not like they had to create much new content.
Except if they actually did, in which case, holy shit R* not bad.
If I remember correctly, they hired a different team to work on the PC/PS4/XB1 Version.
Some people suggest that it may be an actual honest-to-god port (like Max Payne 3)
Sam Houser? I think, he said at one point that the new version will have 'surprises' and it won't be just a graphical change.

If you read the Build Logs on the disc, the PC version has been in development since at least 2012. Though, probably not as high priority.
First instance of the term "PC" is June 2012
Maybe the X-Box One/PS4 versions are ports of the PC version :v:

How function is GTA Online currently? And how many squeaking hackers are there?
Are any of those as bullshit as Zero's missions in San Andreas?

I've played through San Andreas several times before and each time I've left Zero's missions until I've completed the game.
I think I've probably completed Supply Lines once
If Supply Lines is the mission with the [sp]RC red baron that you use to destroy a bunch of vans while managing your fuel[/sp], it wasn't that hard once you realized that most aircraft machine guns locked on to their targets automatically in GTASA.
They made the mission EASIER in later versions of the game (like the Steam version, Greatest Hits version, etc.) by reducing fuel consumption by half IIRC, and it's still pretty tough.
I'm proud to say I beat Supply Lines as it originally was back on the Xbox, with about a pixel of fuel to spare. There are very few moments in gaming I've physically celebrated over, and that was definitely one of them.
I need money

I think most times I played again I didn't even bother trying it, just thought back to my 13 year old self and friends trying to do it.
10 years in October
So I was #130 with 0.00m average for the low flight mission at the flight school, I redo a perfect run to see if I can get any higher than that, and suddendly i'm #240.
what ok
Holy shit I didn't know I could even do that. This is amazing.
Really? I've been doing that since GTAO was released. I'd go to the impound lot or mors and just do it on any cars inside there.
Because I'm a bitchhh.
Anyone else having an issue where when you open your phone it'll instantly open the camera? I lost a zentorno and got my bike impounded because of it
[editline]25th August 2014[/editline]
