Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V2: Give Me (GTA V) PC - Games

Yeah, I have no idea why but the open, snowy landscape is really amazing in the new engine. I guess because it's so different from everything else in V (and IV especially), and I can relate to it better being from Colorado, but I would seriously pay money for a DLC where I just ride snowmobiles in the flatlands. Does anyone know if there are still any NY glitches in Online? I'm starting to miss it.

Xboxes up to 2007 had a rampant rate of overheating[/QUOTE] got it December 2006, it's been chugging along fine. sometimes i do wonder if i'd get any better performance on a new Xbox 360 Slim, though. maybe it's a miracle, but i've never had any overheating problems, never got the red rings. it was difficult to make room for GTA V though (10 goddamn gigs, on a 12 gig drive), i had to delete a lot of unused shit and game profiles. i have a WD external that i wanted to use, but it's never recognized by Windows when i plug it in, so i can't format it for use with the Xbox 360. looks like i'll be shopping for hard drives

[/QUOTE] the new xboxes seem to work better in general, but it might just be because they're new and not using old HDDs that have been overwritten 40 million times

so me and Chaotic Lord tried to crack down a glitcher that camped under the bridge near the LSC we tried to rig each other in passive, but the trash bin was too far and we couldn't jump in also he recorded his POV later after he survived one bounty, i've placed another one, and he placed one on my head(but chaotic took it), and now someone took the bounty i placed on the glitcher

Sure there are downsides to consoles but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable. Consoles are great for pick up and play but, if you're smart, you can definitely squeeze more value out of a self-built or website customised PC in the long term investment sense if you get to know the basics/have a friend in the know and realise you don't need a £500+ graphics card, etc. I've had my system (i7 920 D0@4.0GHz, 6GB RAM, and cost about £600-700) since 2009 and only added an SSD (not 100% necessary) and upgraded from the original Radeon 4870 to a 560Ti but I can still run most things pretty well on high settings. I guess it's partially because Intel is focusing more on mobile tech, die shrinking, and power consumption optimisation than raw power these days...

It was surreal. I have to say though, I do sort of miss the Xbox 360/PS3 console wars. They were a lot less annoying than the PC Master Race shit.
