Any way to have cool car and texture mods for GTA IV without geometry not loading and textures being low-res after like 20 minutes?

Any mods are fine as long as you don't install Trafficload.

Well, how about that, looks like I got it.
What's wrong with that in particular?

It essentially forces every car to be loaded into your VRAM, meaning you don't even have the resources left for buildings to load. It's good for fixing the taxi bug but nothing else.
Why are people on GTA so angry all the time?
Joined a session, and set chat to everyone, and all can hear is about 3 or 4 people yelling at eachother. I don't even know what they were saying, but I'm pretty sure that if it's a derogatory term or slur of some sort, it was said.

Because someone has to be the biggest, strongest and most alpha male there is in the virtual world of running people over in tanks while screaming "what you gonna do now bitch/nigga/cracker/faggot"

Pretty much everyone I hear on mic is either a 14 year old or a 20+ angry black dude
Pretty much everyone I hear on mic is either a 14 year old or a 20+ angry black dude
"lay down, bitch"
"lay down, bitch"
don't remind me that black dude that ranted on the mic few months ago
"Kill me again and my crew will descend on you like vultures upon a corpse, we will tear away your pride, your dignity, and your K/D. Don't fuck with me kiddo, we WILL slap you down like the bitch you are."
Funny thing is his "crew" were half way across the map robbing armoured trucks whilst we were fighting, he finally caved and left after the score hit 34-6 to me. That was the message I got. At this point it's not even funny anymore, just really, really sad.
Some 12 year old kid ran me over, so I went on a warpath to find the little shit and kill him.
I found him about 5 minutes later, inside the high-end clothing store near the $400,000 house, so I decided to kill him and sticky his car.
After that he kept trying to kill me and failed every time (I got around 15 kills on him.) The whole time he was calling me 3 things; A "faggot", a "hacker" and a "nigger".
good golly do I love this game's community sometimes.
a small tip: if people are talking something funny on the mic, make sure you record it
(easiest way to record audio is having a both way male audio jacks and plugging one end to the tv and another one to line-in and set recording device to the following(or use a capture card), then later record the audio with anything(audacity, any other recording software)(also go to options/sound and volume everything down except dialogue boost)
I always have my voice chat to Crew+Friends only. I get irritated otherwise by people playing music through their headsets, speaking foreign languages and just shouting constantly.
any time a dummy steps to and messages me
"You fucked with the wrong crime family, scum. the Don has authorized a hit on you. Watch your back, the Santucci family is coming for you"
"cry about it"
So I finally got through Three Leaf Clover to the escape car, turn on Independence FM, and luck had it that this song was playing, at ~1:23 into it.
I've never had such a FUCKING INTENSE five-star chase in my entire history of playing GTA games. Setting up the custom radio station was so incredibly worth it.
so i somehow managed to install mods into my GTA IV without it horribly exploding in thousands of pieces, and with only one or two problems
one of them being this horror material

I'm not even sure if I should post this here but I couldn't find a megathread for RDR(that's still active, that is), but I decided to play some Undead Nightmare, all went fine until it decided to start spawning generic NPCs with no heads instead of zombies

What in the absolute fuck
there is a rdr thread that was being posted in like last week
reading through this thread i feel like i'm the only one who actually liked all 3 gta v protagonists. mainly because i could relate to all of them somehow. michael reminded me EXACTLY of my dad, albeit not as old-fogie ish. trevor was just fucking awesome. franklin to me was the voice of reason who no one listened to for some fucking reason. like the chick tanisha who comes in like "you have to save lamar he's a fucking idiot but you will be an idiot too if you don't go save his stupid fucking ass again also i'm married lol fuk u"
lamar is also really funny but fucking shit he could be really irritating.

Really? I ran a search on labpunch and could only find one that was last updated like 2012

i think lamar as a side character is probably my favorite because of his personality. [sp]it's sad that he's barely in the game other than calling him and hanging out[/sp]
^ not really a spoiler but just incase PCs dont want to know anything

When Michael said [sp] "I don't see you complaining in the way to the bank" [/sp] and [sp]"Do it, and I'll put you in the ground with the rest of them" [/sp], it reminded me a lot to my dad, in the way he raises his voice when he gets angry.
I personally felt a little identified with Michael though.

I think when he said those two things it was because they were [sp]at the psychiatrist and it needed to come out. like it wasn't necessarily something he really meant but him and his wife needed a release of tension, which is why they can make it work later on[/sp]
Michael reminds me so much of my dad because he looks the exact same, has the exact same tastes in clothes, films, music and cars, treats me the exact same as Michael does his son, and while he should be happy for everything he has, he's bored and annoyed of not having better.
The only difference is that my dad has patience.
"cry about it"
You would be surprised at how many people lose their shit over those 3 words
Michael reminds me of my dad except he doesn't
I like them all for the most part.
Franklin was a bit boring. I get the feeling the player was supposed to project on to him but that didn't really happen.
Michael was fine though almost too humorous. While I'm glad there isn't all the fucking melodrama 4 had with everyone being a depressed slav, Michael is not serious once with his family or with his therapist.
With Trevor I have a shared complaint with Michael. The entire game they never shut up about how much they hate each other.
I have to say, Michael did get a bit more scary than Trevor at times. At one point he even threatened to kill Amanda if she told the police he's really Michael Townley, in front of his son and daughter

I'm going to assume that he just had a lot of pressure on him and vent all his anger during that conversation, I don't think Michael would go as far as killing his own family, even more knowing that he quit his criminal life to protect them.
I felt like Franklin was tacked on just so there would be three characters.
