What's the point of driving the trains though? I can see how they'd save time in getting across the map (bypassing a lot of difficult terrain thanks to the rail tunnels/bridges), but can't you just buff up a Bifta or something and have it blast across basically anything at 100+ miles per hour anyway? I mean, I'm all for more transportation options, but it doesn't seem all that practical, especially online.
If they allowed trains to be derailed, then it would be awesome to drive trains. I think people just want that feature back from SA.
Well, I got a Xbox One, it's not bad, controller is pretty comfy. Now to wait for next gen GTA5, I'd totally get it for PC if my computer wasn't total garbage so this is the best option for me.

But hey, whatever.
The graphics are most likely going to be nearly identical across all platforms, so unless you enjoy modding, it really doesn't matter.
you dont pc game, do you?
I do, but I really don't see how it could look much better than the console counter parts. GTA IV looked pretty much the same as the console version with minor graphical enhancements.

Play almost anything else and it will look better on PC.
GTA IV was an incredibly bad port. Of course it looked bad. Play almost anything else and it will look better on PC.
Of course other games will look better, but this is a last gen game being remastered for current gen and PC.
60fps@1080 looks better than 30fps@720 or whatever lesser resolution the consoles use.
Xbone will most likely be 720p, but PS4 will most likely be 1080p like all of their other titles so far.
Wasn't there some big news about a lot of their games being "faux" 1080? Killzone was one if I remember.
Yeah it was slightly less than 1080 to allow the game to run at 60fps
Yeah it was slightly less than 1080 to allow the game to run at 60fps
only in multiplayer back ontopic tho im wondering if the reason the storyline feels so empty is if they ran out of time... i hope story dlc comes out soon to flesh out the 3 characters or even the side characters
I do, but I really don't see how it could look much better than the console counter parts. They even advertised the graphical improvements of the newer versions in the press release.
Not to mention, once the next ENBSeries release works with GTA5's shader system on PC, things will REALLY start to get interesting in the graphics department. [editline]t[/editline] Remember this gem? [t]http://i.imgur.com/WL3l6ZH.jpg[/t] Imagine GTA5 on the bottom, and what's basically just a photograph of LA on top.
i agree with your point, however, that image is misleading, since the GTA IV port was too salty for anyone without NASA processors to run the photorealistic setup at playable rates i am confident about the upcoming port, given R☆'s track record since, but it's always good to be cautiously optimistic
Look at Max Payne 3. Made by the same guys doing GTA5 on PC, built in parallel rather than ported, runs beautifully even on mid-spec systems (and can be scaled back quite a lot) I'm not 100% confident GTA5 will be a similar story, but I'm still like, 98% confident.
Should have used the money you bought the Xbox One with to build a computer or upgrade your current one. But hey, whatever.
With what my computer is, trying to upgrade it would cost more than what I would've originally spent on said Xbox One, I already considered upgrading it but I wanted to move onto the next generation without being too expensive, that isn't to say 400 bucks wasn't expensive, it was just less expensive in my case. Plus I wanted Forza Motorsport 5, and Destiny.
I do, but I really don't see how it could look much better than the console counter parts. GTA IV looked pretty much the same as the console version with minor graphical enhancements.
consoles don't get things like texture mods/ENB/ICEnhancer. even disregarding those things, it's likely that PC GTAV will support resolutions higher than 1080p which even the new consoles simply are not going to allow, and if you have the hardware to handle it then that makes a significant difference just by itself.
I'd honestly be amazed if GTA V ran at 1080p/60 FPS on consoles. On the other hand I'd be very surprised if my PC couldn't run it at 1080p/60 though.

massive PC delay, pretty disappointing.
The Heist was a white collar con. We were the score.
Hopefully, they will add a Golden Buzzard eventually.
January 27, 2015 for PC
Fuck this fucking gay earth...
'Enhancements to Grand Theft Auto Online include an increased player count, with online play now for up to 30 players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.' No mention of PC, so maybe more players?
There had better be a fucking spectacular reason the PC version is being released way after the console versions, twice
[t]http://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/gtav_details09122014_015.jpg[/t] Meowchael De Santa confirmed
Were there cats in the last gen version? I don't remember there being any, only dogs.
