I noticed that there are cats in the game now! In that one screenshot with micheal leaning on the red coquette classic. Would be cool if you choose what pet you want instead of just Chop. But I'm guessing when pc version comes out modders can replace it with the local wildlife like panthers and shit. That would be fucking awesome

There's much more to it than that. Both the Xbone and PS4 are new systems while people have been developing for PC for decades. It's not like you have to develop for every type of system separately anyway, APIs like DirectX were created for this very reason. Also a lot of code and APIs on the consoles are confidential, so you can't just go to stackoverflow or something to look for solutions to a problem you're having. But I'd imagine Sony and Microsoft have decent support for stuff like that, just like a lot of studios get support from NVidia and AMD. Neither is harder or easier, it's just different. Both have pros and cons. I can go get a Cryengine/Unreal license right now and start making a PC game immediately. Can I do that with the PS4 or XBone? Nope. This of course doesn't apply to a big studio like Rockstar, but again, it's situational. If I wanted to start making a game right now it would be much easier to do so on the PC. Some things are easier and some harder.

I Need a huge motivation (Appart from mods) to re-buy this game on pc Like a new story dlc , either that or it will be just the gta 5 we already know (yet with better graphics)

Why did they redo the steam page with a whole new description and pictures but not put an exact date Available: Early 2015

There's already PC only features that they've already said like the cool video editor making a return. I'm okay with the delay as long as it's not terribly optimized.

But if you don't care about those, you feel comfortable playing on a console and your PC won't run it better than a PS4/XONE then i don't see any reason to buy it on PC. Only real motivation for me is that i'm playing on a PC. Sure mods are a huge plus, but i don't use them until i really feel the need.

Honestly, if it plays just a little better than GTA4 it'll be livable, that is if it runs that way full graphics. I just hope a lot of the effects are allowed to be configured, in order to create an optimal experience.

I'm actually kind of happy about the whole "PC getting it 2 months later" thing. I feel a lot less bad for buying V again a couple weeks ago.

I was wondering, let's say if I buy the PS4 version and also later buy the PC version, would my online stats be the updated no matter which platform I play it on? Like if I play on the PS4 and rank up, would it also translate to the PC version when I play it online? Or is it a one off thing like you have to choose to migrate your stats only to one platform only?

Each account will have your online character saved to it.

I'm sure that it's not because of a corporate conspiracy or because whoever's in charge of deadlines at Rockstar is mad about the hot coffee 10 years ago. If you look at the leaked buglog PC had a ton of issues, even by the time the original last-gen versions came out. They're probably more disappointed about having to delay it than we are, but I'll bet that it's necessary.

I know everyone really wants it on PC, but honestly, I truly believe that Rockstar is just trying to make it a fucking decent port since they know how passionate everyone is. I understand being disappointed by it but it's ridiculous to hate Rockstar for such a reason
