For some reason I believe the PC version delay is partially due to them trying to make Online less prone to cheats. Not everybody has a hacked console to use cheats, yet on PC everybody can try them out, maybe they're making some kins of an anti-cheat. Also the PC version seemed to be more focused on in the development logs, that's why it's surprising it was delayed
Am I the only one who still likes Hood Gone Love It?

It's such a big game that it would make a great deal of sense to be able to test and debug without having to send it across to the development console every time they made minor alterations. I especially think this is likely because of ps4 and xb1 being x86 based so certain things would likely be similar. I have no proof for these claims though, just a thought. I imagine what they need to do for the PC mainly now is make it into a release quality build with PC specific GUI and control schemes and anti cheat etc. And PC specific optimisations. In a dev PC build they would have likely made some of these types of changes in code and settings files modifications and wouldn't have necessarily gone to the lengths of designing and making a GUI for it specifically if a PC release was so uncertain or undesired by the team when they originally initiated development.
Yes. I know what it says. I was being sarcastic, since he said.. Nevermind. Have this instead. [editline]13th September 2014[/editline]
It's because they want to focus all their attention on the PC version once the next-gen versions are out so they can be sure it's not a shitty port.
Honestly as far as they actually will put those months to good use and not just have it laying on their hard drive or something I'll be satisfied. [editline]13th September 2014[/editline] Like, idk, give us the fucking garages and insurance in sp already. Or generally being able to buy all the houses from mp. And all the websites with all the shit to buy. And merryweather at your disposal.
Actually it did. You're just late to the party and no chips left.
Nah. /v/ was the first place i went when the news arrived :v: There was a relatively big thread, but i wouldn't call that exploding.
I never did like it.
You ain't gotta like it
You ain't gotta like it
But the hood gone love it.
So today i've decided to be as a Chauffeur, and i went to a pursuit when a kid chased me with a Vacca
Read somewhere that they are adding in new songs on the radio. Love this news, get sick of the same songs constantly playing.
Well the good thing about GTA V for PC getting delayed is it means I can wait until I get my christmas money and put that towards building a PC that can run it.
Nah. /v/ was the first place i went when the news arrived :v: There was a relatively big thread, but i wouldn't call that exploding.
Please, there were about 10 threads involving the same subject.

Saving this image for when PC version comes out.
We've got pretty good chances at getting something decent though. The Max Payne 3 PC version was optimized really well and from what we've seen from leaked changelogs shows that the PC version has been in development since 2012.

This guy was in there shopping, but when I flew through the door he just stares at me. I plug in my mic and all he hears is Qom and me shouting "ALLAHU ACKBAH!" I blew up and he sent me this.
If the port is still shit I'm going to be utlra pissed. Saving this image for when PC version comes out.
Exactly, if the PC version turns out to be balls, feel free to call Rockstar ever obscenity under the sun
In a technical sense, I'd be fine if GTA V ran exactly the same as GTA IV, because with how vast and good-looking it is, it'd be almost more justified. That and the fact that I'd still be able to run it, of course.
This could be a reason for the delay, but the most common one is actually: Fucking money grabbing Rockstar bitches afraid that people will not buy PS4/Xballs version of GTA5, if released simultaneously with the PC one. They would lose a giant chunk of "cheese" this way... It's as simple as that.
You have no idea how this market works at all. Majority of console gamers do not simultaneously own both platforms. There will be more concern over people who already own GTA5 on the previous gen than people who potentially own PC and Current gen consoles. We're still in the transitional period of current/last gen.
Well, there was GTA IV at launch and there is GTA IV right now. GTA IV at launch was unexcusable.
Performance wise, launch GTA IV was fine. The only extra issues it had were less shadow options and the fact that the last mission was broken.
I feel like most of the cars look ugly with mods and tinted windows.
I feel like most of the cars look ugly with mods and tinted windows.
Mostly caused by people tuning it.
Well, there was GTA IV at launch and there is GTA IV right now. GTA IV at launch was unexcusable.
It still is semi-decent at best.
