I'm just worried about that on PC. I'd imagine 70+ percent of people will be using mouse and keyboard (no aim assists), so if I use a controller (aim assists enabled), would that force me to only play with the other 30% of the playerbase? I can't really see much of a way they could bring both M&K and controller users together without balance issues, but being segregated based on how you like to play games still really blows.
I've also been asked "How did you get lock on??!" a few times after killing some people, I swear most of them have a bad case of brain fuckery.
I usually just reply with "mods" when I get messages like that.
I've wondered why they never put time into making more GTA4 freeroam style game instance, like the normal GTAO instances but without the rpg/progression mechanics.
Because that fun would be to accessable and people wouldn't buy shark cards!
i made a discovery in Vice City [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/32972321363810775/D8526B856C1BECBEA131D0F7C029AB549DA6B5E7/[/t] CS:GO [t]http://puu.sh/bCCLN/a8862fc033.jpg[/t] building textures match
Ye olde stock textures. Just like half of the textures from HL2 came from a commercial stock texture pack and thus match textures in other games.

In fact, probably were used in HL2.
Someone needs to make a Black Jesus mod for Lamar.

Happy Birthday, GTA V.
A year later and still no heists... joys
I mean Jesus, how long did it take them to add heists in Singleplayer?
They've been working on GTAV since GTA 1 released. All the others were side projects
I'm certain now they're waiting for the next-gen release to add in the Heists and have been waiting for it ever since they probably started working on the ports.
who's down to play some online on ps3?
I could play.
The thing I look forward to the most in modded GTAO is removing the fuck out of simeon
The thing I look forward to the most in modded GTAO is removing the fuck out of simeon
I can't wait for the mod where I can spawn Madrazo and kill him in horrific ways.
Madrazo is one of my favorite characters. I think that a lot could have been done with him in Story Mode but he appeared in only a few times.
A modder flung into my garage in a yellow Buffalo S with 2 passengers with cone trashbag heads, I got in and the car disappeared, he smashed all my shit. I'm so fucking confused. EDIT: I just got murdered in my apartment.
I'm pretty sure most GTA:O players are hiding in bomb shelters far away from all the hackers and chaos going on right now. I got online recently and a guy was spawning shit everywhere. I hurried and turned off my Xbox in case he tried to fuck up my garage or something.
Is anyone else interested in GTA:V only for the online? It looks really fun to me, funner then the story, even. I've never cared for GTA's stories and GTA IV multiplayer was great.

If I ever needed any more reasons to not really ever play gto then I'll just sit in the open with a lobby full of hackers
Other than the modders and generally awful community, GTAO is actually sick if you're playing with your friends. I think what made GTAIV's multiplayer so good was that there was really nothing to do, so you'd just fuck around and find random shit to do. For example, I used to just go and climb onto rooftops, which sounds like the most simple shit on the planet, but back in GTAIV it wasn't meant to be so easy to access rooftops, so there would be these tricky ways to get through. Anyway, seemingly the whole point of GTAV's multiplayer was to have a lot of content and shit to do, so people don't seem to actually go fuck around and do random shit as much, but if you're on with your friends and do just that, you'll probably find that even just considering the fact that the map is much bigger and more diverse, there's much more shit to do in GTAO than GTAIV's multiplayer. I don't play as much as I used to, but whenever I played GTAO with friends, it always seemed to generate a bunch of stupid inside jokes we still make references about now too.

My character is an assassin, and the daughter of a Russian mob boss that runs an underground meth operation.
If I ever make a backstory to my character for whatever reason, I wouldn't be too overly serious about it. He'd be like William Foster from Falling Down, or Wesley from Wanted; not necessarily a terrible person, just has... Overreaction problems.
So i have a GTX 660 ti oc What settings would this run on im deciding to get it on pc or ps4 i might as well get it on ps4 if it runs similar i don't care for mods much.

He just wants to make money, but if you shoot at him, expect to get dead because he sure as hell doesn't like that.

I've never cared for GTA's stories and GTA IV multiplayer was great.
GTA IV was great, exactly. The fact that you know this will greatly help you understand how Online is. So imagine GTA IV multiplayer, but with all the parts that made it good buried deep under a thick, dense layer of fun restrictive and unnecessary shit almost nobody likes added on top, with a few pretty neat features that are exclusive for the online only for no reason what so ever (apart from maybe a desperate attempt to make people think the online is better so they will play it and buy money, which is obviously not happening with singleplayer) and should be in the single player, because they're not nearly as accessible, fun and useful Online. And there you have GTA:Online.
