There are actual animations for crouching in the game so I'm positive someone will mod it in.
You really miss it when you find yourself unable to do it, don't you?
It's like jumping
it's one of the reasons I can't stand Dead Space or Mass Effect
The whole stealth thing is pointless since it doesn't work in free roam. I always expect to crouch but instead I see this little hunch over thing.

Jumping could really be improved in V if they would grab ledges instead of just jumping into walls unless you're stood right next to them.
Jumping is the most annoying in V when you are ontop of something and you are trying to get a running jump and all you do is the slide climb down animation instead of jumping

this guy is a freaking walking thesaurus, its annoying.
God GTA Forums is weird.
Climbing is the most funky system ever in V, it seems completely random what is climbable.
who wants to hang out on this special day?
if so, add me on PSN (same nickname)

I wish climbing and other parkour mechanics worked like in watch dogs. Ubisoft made them pretty good and the movement was really smooth. But yeah, GTA V climbing sucked, IV was ok but the movement was sluggish and slow and jumping then catching a ledge was random. The fence climbing in V sucks. Who would ever do it that slow? I expect more people to be able to do a simple vault kinda like the car sliding but without the sliding part.

Sometimes GTA Forums feels like as much of a parody as GTA itself.
so now i'm in a GTAForums event, gotta say its kinda fun to play on full lobbies
Saw this on the GTAForums:

Fuuuck me, I'd love the map to be this big.

If this were the actual map, I woulda been okay if they delayed the game another year / couple of years if needed.
Just imagine GTAO with a player size to fit that map. (I'm guessing at least 100.)
Imagine being stuck in the middle of that desert. God damn..
With how big the scale has been getting in the series, I can't imagine it'll be all that long before we see a GTA game with a map the actual size of the UK.
I wonder if R* will ever do a GTA set somewhere in Europe. I'd personally love to set in somewhere like England. But a GTA set in Russia would be gold.
there was one in london

I wouldn't mind. It actually looks like a desert compared to the sandbox that is Grand Señora.

allahu ackbar
I'd definitely say there's a lot of unexplored parody territory when it comes to modern UK in video games.
Though, what would a fake GTA London/England be called?

It needs to be parody with some actual tact and research to it though.
GTA V sent up modern life in LA perfectly but it did it without using stereotypes 24/7 which almost any game made by non-english developers would undoubtedly have. There needs to be smart parody not exploitation.

In San Andreas they had Edinburgh on some magazines, and Macca was from Salford. So UK in the GTA Universe is probably not changed much.
maybe Lanchester, or Lincoln
or you could derive a name from some geographical feature a la San Andreas

Oh I'm aware. Rockstar is generally very smart with their parody, having multiple levels of depth to it (crude surface, complex cultural satire middle, based in a well-researched understanding) and being funny to most anyone as a result, especially those it parodies.
I don't doubt they could create a fictional England that Americans and others can chuckle at because it's so odd to them, but Brits would just lose it from how much it up and says that they've been thinking for half their lives.
i'm honestly lost on how police shootouts are supposed to go
every single one has ended in death
there's just nothing
there's nothing
how would you even escape i mean by the time you kill the squads that've arrived 10 more have appeared
This is why I've always liked Chinatown Wars' wanted system more, where you lose your wanted level by getting rid of the fuckers chasing you.

It's the most intuitive, common sense wanted system the series has ever had. Why didn't they put it in GTAV?

Kingston maybe?
Just going off Liberty City
Actually that's just dumb, LC was probably derived from the Statue of Liberty in the same way San Andreas was with the fault.
What was Vice City though?
