Now all they have to do is add crouching back.
Now... Let's see the online character creation.
[sp]Keep the same system if you want rockstar idc, I just don't want my character to look like a pleb.[/sp]
Selfies have never looked more stupidly real, even if character's faces are still a fissure below the uncanny valley, with the ability to blush, raise eyebrows and other relative subtleties.
nvm rip that idea. unless they mean Micheal and Trevor trying to smile nicely for a picture.
I would like actual control over the appearance of my character, yes
Also did Rockstar announce the framerate of the console versions?
Is 60 a thing?

muh murge
I'm getting it on PC, but I was going to get a early peak at the game when it releases on console because a friend is going to get it. I was hoping to get a taste of the driving on 60fps.

As much as I want 60 fps on PS4, I doubt it's going to happen. I'll be happy with 30 fps though since it will probably stay consistent on the better hardware.
I heard 30fps cap was confirmed for consoles.
Also official 4K support was confirmed for PC (not that it wasn't expected), but now we can expect 4K screenshots since they said they are revealing PC screenshots soon(tm)
One thing I wanna see is first person cover system.

Here you go

Cover will either be in third person then back to first when you leave or superior Far Cry 3 style where you can lean all around it in first person
console FPS is 30, according to PC Gamer (but apparently they say it's fine? PC Gamer saying 30FPS is fine is a bit ironic)

Says 1080/30 fps in description.

Article on IGN said that you can fine-tune it to be exactly how you want, so you can have a hybrid between third and first person, or have it entirely in first.
[editline]4th November 2014[/editline]
Or entirely in third but there's no way i see myself doing that after getting a look at this first person mode
I just saw the First Person trailer
MOTHER OF GOD
30fps on the consoles is fine when you consider the detail that is being shown, I honestly didn't expect them to be pushing 60fps, you gotta remember its running on Rage which isn't really an optimized engine, its a bit clunky.
People who play 3rd Person in MP would still have the advantage because of the wider FOV and the ability to move the camera to look around stuff.
But it will be nice in Single Player.

MP likely will have set lobbies where FP is forced or disallowed.

This car has neons
One thing I wanna see is first person cover system.
Well, it's confirmed that you can toggle various options for first person, like being able to stay first person in cover or make it switch to third person, disable the camera sticking to your ragdoll, and such.
Have some screenshots

Thanks for the backgrounds.
Those screenshot really gave me a Far Cry 3 vibe
I'm almost tempted to buy the X-Box One version, then sell it in January and get the PC version.

Everyone should read the IGN article, it is great
It’s also an extremely flexible and adaptable first-person experience. Off the bat, it retains the standard GTA 5 control scheme, but you can select from a variety of preconfigured control schemes so it feels more like a standard shooter. In fact, you can customise the experience a lot – you can vary the degree of aim assist, turn off ragdolling and the combat roll (after all, it might make some a bit queasy), and decide whether the game switches to third-person when taking cover. It’s versatile, too: it can be a full-on first-person experience, the same third-person experience you know, or a hybrid of the two.
Oh god, the Selfie mode is also First Person, so if you want to play Pure FP, you're going to have to do trial and error if you want to take a picture of something behind you.
I really, really like the 1st person, and I can't wait till they release the specs for PC version. Although, I wonder how changing between the 1st and 3rd person is gonna work.
One could be forgiven for thinking it's practically an entirely different game with the way the screenshots look.
[t]http://assets1.ignimgs.com/2014/11/04/rsggtavngscreenshot119jpg-eb5dae_960w.jpg[/t]
Unless this is taken from cover facing away, this looks like crouching imo.
[editline]4th November 2014[/editline]
Actually a second look makes me think again, it's just a bit too high for crouching, and we do know the camera moves for the position your character is in, looks like sneaking still.
you can even duck down behind the steering wheel if you're being shot at.
Does this count?

And it's the only way to look at explosions while staying cool.
January 27th is too far away ;-;
November 18th is too far awayy.
