A lot of people like to think they're doing Rockstar/Take 2 justice by bringing down the leaks, when really it would have barely any effect on the sales. Hell, it might even INCREASE sales since people have more information about what's in it (the new vehicles, so much yes).

A lot of people in the GTA community are a bunch of backstabbing assholes. Hell, in the support forum, you can occasionally find people being reported for just doing simple shit like money glitches and other exploits that don't harm anyone.

If that is the main source of people getting the game early, it's doubtful that this will be able to be stopped since the stores need to be stocked with copies of the game before it releases.

A lot of people like to bend over and lick Rockstar's arsehole because they think it puts them in the good books or something. The game is filled with self-entitled white knights who think they have the devs backing them and that they might get a wee treat if they keep reporting folk for the tiniest things. A guy once reported me for supposedly using a godmode exploit just because he had shite aim and couldn't hit the largest side of a barn with a damn banana from 5 metres away. When I called him out for being soaked up to the eyeballs with bullshit he started spewing off things like "I've got your IP, enjoy the ban." and "I have an audio and video recording to act as evidence for when I report you to Rockstar, faggot" and finally "I'll laugh when I get told that your account has been forever suspended." Mate the only one laughing will be the poor sod over at Rockstar who has to watch the video of you getting blasted by someone riding around on a bright pink faggio.
