I just realized, in the PC version, GTA:O will have a chat box!
Uhh, no its not. They literally just parent the camera to the models face as proven by the camera actually fucking clipping back into the face at times when you get smashed hard enough against a wall etc, they don't use an entirely different camera system which swaps world models for view models which is what CoD/HL/Battlefield does... GTA5 uses the same system ARMA does, it whacks the camera where the model's face would be and uses world based animations instead of a split animation system. I'm not blowing air out of my ass as you so put it.
you're factually wrong though like this entire argument of yours is false loll [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline] arma doesn't even render the models head in first person [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline] and 5 doesn't have face clipping at all: coming from everyone whos actually played in 1p [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline] stop being a BITCH and buy the game aND HAVE FUN KILLING
Is this seriously the only thing included in the most recent patch? Fix for GTA Online that prevents issues with player vehicle data.
quality reflections
Who the fuck thinks that just flipping the horizon is a good manner of reflections.
Who the fuck thinks that just flipping the horizon is a good manner of reflections.
What would you suggest?
What would you suggest?
Well the best would be raycasting (expensive), but you could have a low amount of rays and still have good performance. Other would be rendering the scene with low LoD models upside down. Since the blurry and rippling surface of muddy rainwater, the user wouldn't notice the low ray count/low lod models. With rendering the scene upside down, you could also take out detail items such as small grass tufts, particles and insignifcant physics objects.
I still wonder how far we will be able to mod. Or if we will able to mod at all. Because i can already see myself editing some textures here and there, and sounds. Especially sounds.
Honestly though which seems better to do anyway when it comes to the performance of the game? Flipping the horizon or Raycasting?
2:03, the gun clips into the camera Really?
Naah just kiddin' [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline]
Their method of first person view is a dedicated first person view, the same as you'd get in any Call of Duty or whatever. It was built from the ground up to be first-person. It's a little bit like how ARMA's first person view is a dedicated first person view, but it actually uses the model instead of turning you into Gordon Freeman. Honestly, I haven't found any issues with it, and I've actually played the game. How about we give it an honest shot before we pass judgment, or you don't really have an argument built on anything more than air out your arse.
I haven't played it yet and I'm not expecting something as smooth as HL2, but If it's anywhere near arma 3 level I'll be completely satisfied.
quality reflections
Yeah games still can't pull off performance-friendly reflections.

When I saw it like this I was just like, "Wow, that's fucking awful."
There is literally nothing wrong with the first person, it makes the world look more interesting and fights more intense, especially close range ones
Go pick fisty-cuffs with the muscle-heads on the beach. Shits tite yo
There is literally nothing wrong with the first person, it makes the world look more interesting and fights more intense, especially close range ones
It looks really good until you take a gun out or punch someone or do anything that requires first person animations. It's all personal preference, but the first person animations are so terrible that it's going to stop me from enjoying the game in first person. Honestly the animations in the first person mod for last gen looked better than the new ones.
wow it sucks that some things are restricted only to people who bought the ps3/xbox 360 versions and then switched to the next gen version that's total bullshit
wow it sucks that some things are restricted only to people who bought the ps3/xbox 360 versions and then switched to the next gen version that's total bullshit
I hope pc gets all the "exclusives" for waiting forever to get Gta V.
This song just seems like it would fit GTAV.
I hope pc gets all the "exclusives" for waiting forever to get Gta V.
Oh shut up, stop acting entitled.
Oh shut up, stop acting entitled.
So we dont deserve to get the next gen exclusives for literrally not having played 1 second of gta before the pc release?
What does it even matter if the exclusives don't come with the release, by the end of the first week some dude will have extracted all the content and made it available anyway
It looks really good until you take a gun out or punch someone or do anything that requires first person animations. Link a video, if you can, where you find the animations terrible.
So we dont deserve to get the next gen exclusives for literrally not having played 1 second of gta before the pc release?
Next gen/PC gets all the exclusives anyway? All you'd be missing out on is the returning players exclusives. And yes, you don't fulfill the requirements (returning from last gen to next gen/pc) so no, you don't deserve to get the returning players exclusives.
Is gta online on ps4 stable again? Didn't work at all last night.
Is gta online on ps4 stable again? Didn't work at all last night.
Rockstar Support page says that they're currently investigating "intermittent connection errors" still for both XB1 and PS4. Chances are, there are still some problems right now. GTA Online Status
There was a patch, but yeah until that page says it's good I'm gonna hold off on GTAO.

Before the patch gtao was completely unplayable for me. After the patch i got 1 or 2 disconnects over a 6 hour period. apart from that no issues to report.

probably fake no time stamp.
Pretty sure that shirt though is a reskin of the picture that's already in the game, but whatever, Ursula sent me boobies.
