Today I found out this old gem, Grand Theft Auto Collector Edition for the PS1. (It was hidden on my shelf). I purchased it for 4€ in a local store back in 2003/2004. The discs doesn't have any scratches and they are clean, the box is a bit dirty but it's in a decent condition. [t]http://i.imgur.com/M1uRNFE.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/3sFlbcY.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/45NIZTG.jpg[/t] I'm so glad that I found it! [editline]13th December 2014[/editline] How much does this game worth today?
Ebay says about £10-15.
PC also doesn't have the Valentines Day stuff or the Independence Day stuff. I don't see you getting pissy about that.
It actually does, for transferred characters that already own the material.
it's priceless because farts and burps
Holy shit the dating in San Andreas is hilarious. It's so fucking video-gamey it's unreal. I took a girl to a diner and romantic music starts playing as they stare into each other's potato faces and my girlfriend's eyes disappear, then I have to driver her home and one of my other girlfriends (that I didn't even know I had) shows up and I have to go on a fucking car chase avoiding her. I ended up getting caught which just ended with them both shouting each other and the girl I was with walking off. Seriously, look at this fucking cutscene at 2:18: [editline]asdf[/editline] "She wants another date! Soon she will be powerless to resist..." Uh...

Ugh, I've grown to hate Soulwax FM. I don't understand why Rockstar didn't make a general electronic music station instead of dedicating a whole station to soulwax stuff.
New stuff from NillxMods regarding heists:
Heist (Planning Board) layout update for both High-End apartment interiors. This will be available across all platforms. Brand new 'Heist' selection menu featuring it's own Social Club-based leaderboard and misc options showing the list of un-completed Heist missions). This will be available across all platforms. 34 Texture Modifications to 4 different locations, this is in favour of added effect during Heist missions. This will be available across all platforms but the texture detail is improved on current-generation. 6 Heist missions in 4 unique locations. 5 Cops and Crooks missions in 4 unique locations. Improved anti-cheat methods. Some code for this is included in the DLC, but is not associated with the Heist feature itself. Three brand new vehicles. The names of these vehicles are still identified by their Dev tag and are not yet finalized but the approximate vehicle class is; Sports Classic and Sports. Brand new Apartment - CCTV function with two AI-characters in your apartment running them. This feature is available for current-generation only. Three Heist-themed clothing items - these items are still identified by their Dev tag but are the following types; Special Outfit (available from the counter). Two Cops and Crooks-themed masks. These mask items are available in current-generation only. BZ Gas will now be purchasable from Ammu-Nation but can only be used in Heist missions - you are responsible for stocking-up on these and if you run out, your team mates will need to complete that objective for you. 5 new hairstyles - these are still identified by their Dev tag. 2 new contact lenses - these are still identified by their Dev tag. Additional matchmaking for Heist missions between Crews - this is a feature implemented in 1.17 but will be activated in 1.19/1.05. A new phone contact named 'Jeff' will be available, offering a chance to resurrect a killed-off Crew member during your Heist operation. The voice of this contact or any other options associated are still unknown at this point. Last-generation players will have the option to 'Email' other Crew members about your planned Heist mission, whoever emails you a Heist plan will be the leader of the operation. Current-generation players will have the option to 'Email' other Crew members about your planned Heist mission and have the ability to print those out in your Apartment and store in your documents, whoever emails you a Heist plan will be the leader of the operation. All players will have the ability to use their Heist planning board in order to select a location, chosen online-Crew members and their role and the length of time before the Heist request expires from their 'Email' app on their phone. 4 new audio files, relating to the Heist missions. These are identified as an alarm bell, the sound of a vault opening, sirens and a background track.
The source is below this line. Enter at your own risk, the leaker has been pushing links to his forum a lot and I don't know how safe it is to go there. Source And as always, take this stuff with a grain of salt. The more I look at this, the more it seems like he's trying to gain publicity for his forum so all this shit could be false.
i'm not sure if i should be hyped also i wonder why only now the details about the heists are being leaked
so rockstar was delaying heists so we could all enjoy them together? last-gen, next-gen and pc alike? here, have some money rockstar. now give us that rdr pc port.
i'm not sure if i should be hyped also i wonder why only now the details about the heists are being leaked
A lot of the previous DLC leaks usually came from lines of code being added to something called tunables which, to my knowledge, is used by Rockstar to control various things in GTAO. However, these leaks, if they're true, are a lot more complicated than just looking at tunables. If this shit is true, I honestly can't even guess how they managed to get their hands on this information.
so rockstar was delaying heists so we could all enjoy them together? last-gen, next-gen and pc alike? here, have some money rockstar. now give us that rdr pc port.
If that really is the reason why they delayed it, that's pretty nice of them.
Watch heists have some kind of "once a day" restriction.
Watch heists have some kind of "once a day" restriction.
it should be, since the payouts could be big
it should be, since the payouts could be big
I think that if it is once a day, it should just be a once-a-day payout sort of thing but still grant you the freedom to play through them with your friends just for fun whenever you want
Finally want to play online, but long story short. I need to unlock my PS3 saves due to changing accounts around and shit on my PS3. Any of you know the best method how?
I am bursting at the seams. any longer and im gonna have to buy another computer. And move to another state.
[t]http://prod.hosted.cloud.rockstargames.com/ugc/gta5photo/CBMn84xnAEacLMtjTGrH_Q_0_0.jpg[/t] How in the fuck did I manage this.
a complicated system of pulleys
Watch them make Heists fucking weekly things and have a payout per player no more than $1M The RP will probably be shit too.
it should be, since the payouts could be big
If you have a crew capable of doing the heists and actually accomplishing them, why penalize? If it were once a day, you'd turn off a lot of people. Money should be no factor. If you can earn it and have the RP to use it, why fuck your players over for trying to enjoy the content?
$5 down that heists will cap out below $250,000
Heists are once per character and if you fail no re-trys, minimum 1M buy-in, no refunds. And when you win, the reward is 50% off your next purchase of GTA$ And if you die in the game, you die in real life.
But what if I have an extra life? What happens if you get busted? What happens if someone calls that Jeff guy? Maybe he can use multiple bottle rockets or something.
so rockstar was delaying heists so we could all enjoy them together? last-gen, next-gen and pc alike? here, have some money rockstar. now give us that rdr pc port.
RDR kind of sucked it's not even worth a PC port [editline]14th December 2014[/editline] I really hope that Job Points are used to do heists. E.g. you need 200 job points to do a heist.
RDR kind of sucked it's not even worth a PC port
RDR is better than every GTA though.
RDR is better than every GTA title.
I thought it was great, but after a while, you realize that you're in the middle of the fucking desert and there's nothing to do after you beat it.
I thought it was great, but after a while, you realize that you're in the middle of the fucking desert and there's nothing to do after you beat it.
huh? the hunting / sharpshooter / flower picker (idr what they were called) challenges + sidequests were an absolutely HUGE amount of side content to do after the main game
more than gta v tbh where most of the side content aside from side missions are just collectibles edit: muh fuckin automerge
my main point is that the landscape is pretty dull compared to GTA. and the challenges afterwards aren't really that fun imo.
Well it's a desert so.
RDR kind of sucked it's not even worth a PC port
Instead of just saying that to piss everyone off, please explain why?
Well it's a desert so.
It sounds hideous.
