Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V2: Give Me (GTA V) PC - Games

When I was playing with some guys on here, we somehow started a mission in my garage. Worked out well, since we were all able to jump in a jeep and drive to the mission.

Everyone destroyed me, and chaos ensued with people fighting for the crate, and killing the enemies from the gang attack. I didn't get the crate.

It's stupidly annoying especially when you're trying to collect planes at sandy shores

I really wish they would speed up pre-order availability on Steam. It's killing me inside when I wake up and I don't see a thousand new posts in here cause it's finally available just for [I]preorder[/I]

I honestly feel that R* just really doesn't fully get online (especially modern online games). The fact that they promised GTAO would be revolutionary, and then proceed to foist 50 variations of *deathmatch* on us is proof of that.

I had the money ready when they announced the game in july. Now if they opened the pre-order tomorrow i wouldn't have it. I have to wait until the 10th to free some credit on my credit card. As silly as it sounds, it will be frustrating if they open the pre-order and i can't buy it immediately.

I hate how I have to change my walk cycle pretty much every time I start a new online session. I don't know if it's a bug or not, but I wish it would just stick with the one I chose. I wish you could wear parachutes regardless of whether you have one or not, like you can with body armor. It's annoying, having to avoid using parachutes just to keep one on for the look of it.

I partially agree with that video, I sometimes wish GTA would take itself a little more seriously and have a bit more clever satire. Although I think if there's something to critique about GTA V, it's the singleplayer gameplay. Even though the world is great, the mechanics and things to do seem to be a bit lacking, and there's also the always-present notion of restrictiveness, for bad reasons.

Has Bawsaq ever been up for GTA Online? I want to gamble away all of my money but they don't want to let me. Was the Casino thing ever confirmed to be an actual thing that was coming or were they just beta files or something.

I just want a Swift but like what's the point I can just steal a different helicopter from the helipad and not have to call Pegasus and drive there and still have my 1.5mil. I have like 1.2mil now and I don't know what to spend it on. I already have a stupid dumb big apartment that has no use and like five cars and bikes fully upgraded that I never use. Bunch of clothes that look terrible and ten different kinds of gun that are pretty much he same as each other. I don't understand how they fucked up the whole buying stuff thing. How hard could it have been to just make all the helipads spawn specific versions of helicopter like ambulance helicopters on the Hospital so you actually have to buy a Buzzard or the helicopter you want. Why couldn't they let you buy a hangar to store it and have a mechanic dude come and drop it off for you? It's like they wanted to do that and make it so you had to work for the cool things, but at the same time they didn't want to in case people didn't like it because it was too different from GTA IV's multiplayer so you have this gimped version of GTA IV's multiplayer with the option to buy some stupid shit that has no use.

The Swift's price tag is indeed stupid, it was made that to purge some of the billionaire player's cash from the remains of the bounty cheats. Its a nice helicopter though, faster than a frogger but the thing is very delicate, it makes a nice crate runner though because you can outrun a buzzard in it. And yeah GTAO is very gimped in a sense, I think some of the issues are hardware related though, like they can't load all the vehicles in the console memory to allow them to spawn, instead they have to restrict it down to about 6 or 10 different vehicles and when needed it'll just purge the whole spawn pool making nothing spawn.

My uni halls have something like 2mbs download speed on Steam so the sooner the better really
